Lunar South Pole has Water

India it up there trying to do the same by 23 Aug

Russia by 21st Aug

China wants a Moon Base built by 2028

USA is trying to get there first

But Russia and China are going to set up their lunar basses
well before slow USA.

This about digging for Lithium
and other minerals

China and Russia do not respect USA

The sky is pretty dull on the Moon.

It would be great to build a huge dome with an artificial sky and Earth clouds above. Install a wind and rain machine too. :D

Surely it's Helium-3 they're after mostly? There are other rare metals there but I can't see how it would be feasible to haul any significant amount back. You'd need much bigger space vessels than anyone has built so far. Whereas Helium-3 is so valuable you can transport a good haul in a space shuttle.

Didn't it crash into the moon too? Surely that's a first for Russia, attacking a different plant.

Yes they claim all the errors have been corrected
now.

USA does not want Russia or China setting a base there
to mine, thus keeping USA out
