Been listening each week for 20 odd years.
they play 2 years charts from this week from long ago, this week was 1970
and 1987. 1988 is normally my cut off and if its any later i give it a miss as
90s music is piss poor in the main (unless dance)

I really like that show.
I don't know if that's Gambo's real voice as I've not seen or heard him elsewhere, but his voice on the show is perfect for the format, he sounds very "olde timey" which suits talking about songs from the 60s-90s.

Peoples still listen to BBC Radio? I used to listen to Radio 2 in the car but I don't want to hear Rob Becket, Vernon Kay or any of the other minor celebrities they parachuted into more popular presenters' shows because they wanted to make it younger and more relevant. I really like Steve Wright but I wish he'd told them to shove it.

50 year old Vernon Kay playing songs from the 90s and 2000s. Very young and relevant
