New forum theme - works better on Mobile and small screens [ST Responsive]

I've added some different variations of a new forum style. It should be much nicer to use on phones and tablets (similar to the Tapatalk app).

There is four different versions:


ST Responsive
ST Responsive sidebar (shows latest posts on forum pages and index)
ST Responsive fixedwidth (doesn't stretch to fit whole screen width on desktop)
ST Responsive fixedwidth sidebar

...and 3 colours versions: Blue, Green and Red (so 12 extra themes in total).

I have attached some screenshots.

Use the menu at the bottom-left off the page to change the theme, or go to User CP - Edit Options - Forum skin to change permanently.

This will become the default forum theme soon. (EDIT - It is now the forum default theme.)

i am sticking to light blue, white as i can see much more of the page on my phone

It's OK for readability but would love a dark theme version, reading black-on-white on your phone is bad for your eyes :nono:.

so when I arrive i see thread starter, last post, replies, views and forum

plus 25 rows

i can then pinch and zoom to where i want

I'm using the Blue coloured version of the new theme. It looks great, although I will have to get used to having the sidebar on the left and not the right.

Just bumping this thread for any returning members.

The ST Responsive themes make using forum on mobile a lot easier, in my opinion. I have hardly used the Tapatalk app recently, although that is available too..

You can even have a different theme selected for desktop and mobile using the menu at the bottom-left of the screen.

You are using the forum default theme, which is 'ST Responsive-blue-sidebar-fixedwidth' and that fixes the width of the forum, so wide images in the sig will be stacked on top of each other to avoid stretching the page.

If you change to 'ST Responsive-blue/ST Responsive-red/ST Responsive-green' they will be side-by-side' so long as your screen is wide enough.

On small screens I've added a forum link to the search results (eg. Today's Posts / New Posts) so you know what forum the thread is in.

On Desktop sized screens it is unchanged - you already see the forum there.
