View Full Version : The return of CBB is essential for the reboot’s success

I really think they should have been rolling out CBB in January too to really make sure the reboot is a success.

I think it’s a misstep but hopefully the civilian series does well and they sort one out for 2024.

I’m surprised they didn’t do a celeb series first like channel 5 did.
I suppose it’s too much with IAC following shortly after

I wouldn’t have high hopes for CBB on itv tbh, it would end up being like I’m a celeb, full of celebrities not wanting to say or do anything in case they lose whatever career they have

Yes I hope that the civilian series does well enough that they consider a celebrity series for the following year.

This is a good point.

Best case scenario would be a fair mix of big names that ITV could get that C4/C5 never could as well as the more obscure/lesser known ones who made CBB such a success on C5 in particular

I reckon more "themed" celeb seasons would be interesting/fun as a slight change of format. Like... an "only soap stars" season, or an "only musicians" season.

A season littered with like old EastEnders/Neighbours/Hollyoaks randoms would be amazing :joker:. Maybe throw in someone from Sunset Beach or something :laugh:.

You need a few bores though. A show full of them would be terrible but one or two in the mix is fine.
