and wants to join clinical trials in North America,

let her go to the USA.

Unfortunately the NHS is severely underfunded.

Speaking from experience, you can just tell that they're understaffed, the workers are doing the best that they can given the lack of resources being given to them.

Obviously a shame for the girl and her family, RIP.
