I really hope it isn’t brian. Then it would just prove that all anyone has to do to be popular is to act stupid and I don’t think that is a very good message.

Brian isn’t always a nice guy either. He seems very aggressive towards gerry just because he something to say and has a bit of intelligence. I hope it’s gerry, ziggy, carole, liam and the twins in the last six.

I can't choose, because I still can't see the twins as anything other than a package. I think the odds are against either of them winning, because they're going to split the vote. I'd hate to be in their shoes, too. If you get to the last night and come second or whatever, then fair enough - you can reconcile yourself to the fact in whatever way works best for you. But to effectively be told that you're not as popular as your twin sister wouldn't be something I'd ever want to experience.

I really hope Liam doesn't win, because he's pretty much at the bottom of the list when it comes to even remotely 'deserving' it for me. He's just a really dull hm all round. Gerry is another who's generally rather dull, and watching him sucking the life out of Chanelle isn't my idea of entertainment at all. But even though he has virtually no chance of winning, he'll probably make the final week at least, simply because he's unlikely to ever pick up enough nominations to face eviction. I hope we've seen the back of Carole long before then, because she's the absolute antithesis of everything that's enjoyable about BB. As for Piggy, my dislike for that moron could run to a dissertation, at least. Thankfully, he's doing a good enough job of alienating himself from the audience for me ever to need to.

Charley and Nicky have no chance of winning, although I've no problems with them sticking around for as long as possible. Tracey I'm unsure of. She'll either sink or swim once the producers finally decide there's too few hm's left for them to be able to ignore her. Piggy has probably blown Chanelle's slim chance, but I've no qualms about her making it to pretty much the end.

Meh, I can't see past Brian winning right now, and thoroughly deserving it simply because he's provided the most entertainment. I'm resigned to the fact that Liam is very probably going to be in the mix too, but hopefully his abbreviated also-ran interview will be the last we see of him, and the twins will keep him in 4th. place at best.

First of all I’d have to consider the Golden Couple. Big Brother’s specially prepared story of the summer. They get plenty of coverage and attention from the “On The Couch” show complete with “here-nor-there” advice on how they should be manipulating the audience (!?!) and both of them have proved just how adept they are at taking an insincere situation and spinning it out over time to appear like a series of ‘Hollyoaks’, complete with fake emotional breakdowns, false break ups and threats to leave. It’s media savvy work we should expect from contestants who’ve had the benefit of almost a decades worth of footage and tactics to analyse in order to succeed at the game. As it turns out, these two appear to have done the most telling homework; however much they’ve learnt, they’re putting it all to great use. So who'll go the furthest? They can’t both win. In my opinion, Chanelle doesn’t need to win, she doesn’t even need to stay popular, all Chanelle needs to do is make sure her showbiz relationship stays together so that she can reap the rewards on the outside. It’s a win-win situation providing she can keep Zach happy and interested. Zach, on the other hand, needs to win or at least come close. If he is to be the “Becks” in this “Posh and Becks” spoof then he needs to be the one who wins adoration with the public, he’s the one who needs to come across as respectable or admirable. So far things have been unsteady for him, we’ve already seen him treat Chanelle (and other girls) quite badly when he’s got himself abit stressed from his own gameplaying, yet all he need do is yank off the shirt and he’s got the support of probably at least half of the Big Brother audience anyway, so if he starts to show a nicer side of his personality more often, he’ll be unstoppable. Chanelle can act as the crutch for his foibles, generally taking the brunt of the blame in situations by acting childishly selfish and drawing the negative attention to her, when it’s really him that causes a good deal of the trouble in the first place. She’s a martyr for her cause, and this is the reason I think Zach will proceed further than her in the competition.

Next I have to consider the twins. It’s a concept which is quite alien to me and I really don’t see any definite path for these two in the house. They could both survive until the end, they could be put up for eviction 1 v 1, they could be kept together and eventually revealed as one housemate? Who knows? What I’d like to see is the 1 v 1 scenario. In the penultimate week, or thereabouts, someone could win the right to choose that weeks nominees which might set up the 1 v 1 contest between the twins. It’d be good for the housemates to break up the strong faction that is the Pink Princesses and it would be a good exercise for the audience to make some sort of definition between the girls (I’m only recently coming to terms with the fact that Amanda’s the more independent one and Sam’s the slightly more naïve one, though I couldn’t pick them out in a line up) even if it could be seen as a little cruel to vote one over the other. As it turns out, what will probably happen is they’ll both sail to the final week then hinder one another’s chances of winning due to the audience not being able to decide who to give the most votes.

I’d expect Carole and the boys could see off Gerry and Tracey to the last 6 and the phenomenon that is Charley could be anywhere between 2nd place and long gone (depending whether the producers have some stand-in entertainment) - Gerry’s a decent character to have around but the intellectual is not exactly at home in the Big Brother house so has resorted to sticking to the Golden Couple to act as their personal psychiatrist/counsellor for everything they’re putting themselves through. By the final 2 weeks Operation Chiggy will be in the home stretch and they’ll be used to the tribulations of ‘relationship management’ so Dr. Gerry will have outstayed his welcome - Tracey's more in the firing line now that she's emerging as a fully fledged member of the ‘bitching team’, so although she’s getting the chance to open up a bit, there’s more than enough reason for her to be unpopular and voted out if she comes up against a fan favourite - Liam could go all the way to the last week, he’s certainly got the girls on his side, but he’s also got a cocky, mean streak which could be his downfall at any moment and with him already having won the prize kitty, there’ll be no second chances for Liam, if he slips up, I think he’ll be out.

So, falling before the last hurdle I think will be Chanelle, Gerry, Liam and Tracey. I think the final 6 will be in 6th Carole, then Sam and Amanda. 3rd position I’ll reserve for Charley (or a housemate added later in the series; in which case they should be 6th and the last 3 move up a space and Charley cancelled). I think the final 2 will be Brian and Zach. I should really predict Brian as the winner, for that’s what I’d like to see, but I just don’t have any trust in the audience (after the discriminatory debacle that was Seany’s eviction) so I think Ziggy will work his way around people and come out the winner.
