this is a big brother forum, there is only choice this year for us, to solely stick with BB Queen Jade's handsome son

Being nasty as usual I see. :idc:

I sincerely hope Bobby does not win because it will only be because Jade died. A sob story.

And it's utterly ridiculous to say when we haven't even seen anyone dance yet.

Nicky he lacks Experience

He's 30 years old. He may not have much experience, ok, but he's nasty with it.

Nigel is going to surprise some people. And he has Katya, the best pro.
I like Bobby, but my votes go to Nigel.

i'm supporting Rippon Legend & Bobby

also keeping my eye out for Nikita, she has some stage experience too, she might surprise us

and in terms of partnerships, i reckon Annabel could do well, not gonna spoil her pro partner but it was an emotional one for her

as for Nigel, well Katya surely is a great choreographer, great friend in training too, i myself loved rooting for her with ''the Donkey'' Tony last year, my fave performance is his DJ Tony Salsa and his halloween quickstep which was really good at michael vaughan ballroom standards

he'll definitely need them

think Layton is also one who's gonna struggle with the public vote and tbh in this open line up, you might easily end up being Aston'd on a weaker moment, and i don't think Layton will do well in every dance

when we know Angela Rippon, Les Dennis are quite popular castings, aren't your usual elderly hopeless duffers either but come from performing backgrounds

Krishnan even who might have slight early exit vibes, even has a musician/hobby musician background too

Nigel won't struggle for votes. I'm sure of it.
He's likable and humble.

Agreed. The type of winner who would really deserve it tbh. I think he'll slay.

musical theatre experience always rubs off on the GBP though?

so it'll depend more on his personality, hope Nigel has paid attention how Kelvin did that, winning over the public by showing his real self

he seems humble enough for someone who's quite some major acting roles, also getting to share the set with Leonardo DiCaprio on Blood Diamond :D

His acting skills will come in handy for the themed weeks..

But Nigel will be getting all my votes.

Krishnan wants to dance to the Starsky & Hutch theme song for Movie Week apparently

so if he survives week 2, we could be in for a treat

he said so in his VT, they are all on strictly youtube channel btw

Hope he does an emotional somber jive in honour of his mum to the big brother theme tunes. There won’t be a dry eye in the house.

 this is exactly what I'm talking about. Watch the votes for the sob story go through the roof. Even if he's a crap dancer. SMH.

Not quite getting your problem here Kate. You're supporting Nigel before he's danced a step and who's to say what stoey the producers will spin on him. As I said, Bobby rarely even mentions Jade in interviews and only when asked directly about her. He's just won an NTA, in one of the biggest soaps and is a good looking boy, thats why he's bookies fave, more so than who is mum was

I don't agree though Annie. And being a "good looking boy" is no reason at all for a winner.

What don't you agree with? You say Nigel is a nice humble guy, but you don't know that. You've made assumptions and thats all the bookies have done.

And I didn't say being good looking was a reason to win but coupled with the other things I mentioned is a reason why the bookies have put him as an early fave. Which in itself means nothing. Until they dance, its just odds.....which will change and fluctuate after people start betting.

My point was that it is ridiculous to have an early betting favourite before they've even danced and that it won't be right for him to win on a pity vote. Nothing against him personally.

They do every year though
Nigel is not far behind at 5/1
They've got to pick someone and as he's been in the spotlight at the NTAs last week he was an easy pick.

I don't think you would have been this incensed if Nigel had been the fave

Vanessa

It's probably better not to be early favourite. They never win.

Its not just that though anyway, it's the whole sob story bollocks. I'm not saying he plays on it, its the press. But the end result will be that he wins and its godamm unfair. The best dancer rarely wins. It stinks frankly.

being rich made him ''good looking''

he has lipfillers obviously, some botox here and there too i think

and wouldn't surprise if with the help of Daddy Cash and Fame he currently is the odds favourite

when everyone sees how wooden he is in the launch show group dance he'll sink in the odds like a concrete brick in the swimming pool to 15th place, and favourite for first elimination instead :hehe:
