Alanis Morissette is a fantastic singer, and Jagged Little Pill is a fantastic album.
Jagged Little Pill is #1 on my list, followed by Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and Such Pretty Forks In The Road at 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Would agree wholeheartedly except that wasn't Alanis. It was Meredith Brooks.

Strange you've never mentioned that before!
She came and went, like the SDP.
A flash in the pan.

terrible dated din

Don’t know how true this is but the thing that bothers me slightly about her is that when she was in the spotlight and made millions from the Jagged Little Pill album she apparently retired into obscurity then only came back with albums whenever she needed money ?
Could be completely fabricated but I saw that somewhere

No she went off doing mainstream. They wanted her to do another JLP style album but she didn’t want to. She wanted to do her own thing. She came out with Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (her best album) but it wasn’t as popular as JLP so the hype for died down.
