It's connected via a brown door in the garden, im assuming it will be used for vaping too!

Does it definitely have no cameras? Are there mirrors? I think the old smoking area cameras were sometimes across the other side anyway?

I would imagine they just don't want to televise people smoking. If it's like Love Island, I think they only let one person in the smoking area at a time so no-one wants to just watch someone puffing away

It has to have cameras. Too much gossiping happens there. That’s where they go after fights. Big brother isn’t big brother unless they can see everything. I think this is just as accurate as the yes/no on 24/7 live feeds.

smoking habits have changed a lot since the original BB. It will be vapers most probably, that go in for a quick puff and straight back out. Also smoking is not allowed by law inside public buildings

It does have a camera, but one for producers only. It's no big deal that we won't see inside. We can still listen in if anything gets said. And it's only big enough for 1 HM at a time anyway.

Vaping isn't as "objectionable" to those who don't than cigarettes, so I'd guess vapes are allowed anywhere in the garden, while individual fag smokers would have to go in the shelter?

I mean...they literally decide what to cut to and what not to anyway even if it was set up to film so they can't play any new edit tricks on you they already wouldn't have been able to.

The cameras cover everywhere but they may choose not to show a particular activity.

BB Spy said in their article on the garden photos that ITV might have a blanket policy to not show or promote smoking, which is why it’s never shown on LI.
