Basically, what things would you say ITV should/should not do to show that they are taking this revival seriously?
IMO they have already made an impressive start with how the show has been promoted, but I think the biggest sign for me would be the presentation of each episode. Quite vague I know, but managing to give BB its own identity separate from Love Island is important. Please none of the over-the-top music montages Channel 5 gave us! Each highlight show should just play out like a documentary with narration from Marcus where necessary.

I agree with that, no tacky editing would be great.
I think the casting and format as well. They've been marketing it as the return of the "ultimate social experiment", if they mean that then hopefully they'll cast a varied bunch that could spark up some genuinely interesting dynamics and leave nominations to play out naturally.

Honestly with the way ITV present a lot of their shows I'm not feeling too hopefully about a stripped back editing style. I just hope they can at least treat it like a social experiment again and stick to the fundamental rules of the show.

That’s not relevant to my point ..
They aren’t advertising the live feed / footage on the ItvX app .. and that’s supposedly where it’s being shown
