Most Popular TV Contender 2007

This time last year NTA announced the shortlist for Most Popular TV Contender. The list included Chantelle, Nikki, Pete, Carole Thatcher and Richard Fleeshman. Nikki, the only nominee not to have won her series, went on to win the award.

This year the Most Popular TV Contender award has been scrapped but of it was to go ahead who would you nominate and who do you think should win.

Shilpa from CBB
Matt from I'm A Celeb
Charley from BB
and Connie from Britain's Got Talent

would be nominated, and I'd want Katie to win - though Connie'd probably get it.

Perhaps there aren't that many outstanding contenders...I mean Big Brother's still got a long way to go, and last year Nikki and Pete were, by this time, way more established-characters than Charley.

I think this award was actually designed for nikki, why else have they scrapped it. My choice would be Shilpa Shetty, she was quite fun, i.e. the seductive flirtation with dirk was fun to watch.
