As hosts you don't need to qualify, you're automatically in the tournament.

Actually all teams are going through Qualifying as rules state only two teams get a bye to the tournament

Only 2 teams you mean? So the rules have changed now then, and not every hosting nation is automatically in the Tournament?

I've read that if there are non-qualifiers out of the hosting teams, the two best-placed non-qualifiers will qualify.

was already basically confirmed, after Turkey more or less gave up on their hosting bid for 2028

clever of them, 4 more years before their turn with Italy, more time to save more money for this organisation

it makes sense to use countries that already have the infrastructure. The time has long gone where these competitions are used as a method of regeneration

Good news, hope they do a better job of the final than the last one though

Will the final be in Cork, it should be

I read 10 venues altogether, 6 in England, then 1 each in ROI, NI, Scotland and Wales. Dublin for Ireland (boo) how dare they over look the real capital

It's easy to get too from UK airports. I went there in 1995 for the England football match and I can safely say I won't return.
