'Losing baby was punishment'SHAMED Jade Goody has revealed she feared her miscarriage was “God’s punishment” for her behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother.

Jade, 26, was 12 weeks pregnant when she lost the baby she was expecting with toyboy lover Jack Tweed, 19, last month.

And the loudmouth — whose career went into freefall following the Celebrity BB racism storm — said the miscarriage had sent her reeling into a “dark time.”

She said: “After the miscarriage I did ask, ‘Why is all this happening?’ I thought it was God’s punishment for something I’d done.

“This year it’s been one thing after another. But after losing the baby I felt I’d never recover.”

Following her stint on the Channel 4 show in January — where she hit the headlines for bullying Bollywood princess Shilpa Shetty — Jade’s perfume and autobiography were withdrawn from sale.

In February she checked in to The Priory in London over depression, before travelling to India in a bid to save her career.

Speaking for the first time since the miscarriage, mum-of-two Jade admitted she was overjoyed when she discovered she was pregnant.

She said: “I was shocked at first, but after such a horrible few months, having a baby was something I could finally look forward to.

“I dreamt of having a girl and even secretly imagined dressing her in pink.”

However, Jade said the miscarriage nearly broke her spirit, adding: “It got to the point where I thought, ‘What else can happen?’. I tortured myself asking why. It was a dark time but I had to put on a brave face for my sons.

“Last week a woman hugged me in the street. I just broke down. But then I get worried people will think I’m crying for sympathy.”

She told Closer magazine: “Last year, everything I touched turned to gold.”

Jade says she is still determined to pick up her career.

What a ridiculous statement.
How could ANYTHING she had done in the CBB house be a punishment for something like losing a baby?
I am upset Jade has said this.

Of course she is trying to get publicity..... and I find it shocking that she would use losing her baby to do so.

Its a horrable experience that I would never ever wish upon anyone but to use it so publicly saying it was a punishment for CBB is sick.

I really don't know how to respond to this.

It always amazes me how people can manipulate tragic situations.

I agree completely.
I do like Jade and I think there is always a possibilty she has been misquoted as everyone knows that's what the press usually does but if everything she's said in the article is true it's practically a translation to: "Oh well I've had my punishment, feel sorry for me and let me have my career back."

Jade Goody has revealed that she believes her recent miscarriage may be a punishment from God for her behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother.

Jade lost the baby she was expecting with boyfriend Jack Tweedy last month.

She told Closer: "After the miscarriage I did ask, 'Why is all this happening?' I thought it was God's punishment for something I'd done."

"This year, it's been one thing after another. But after losing the baby I felt I'd never recover," she added.

The reality TV star's career has been in a downturn since her controversial appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, where she was vilified for her behaviour towards Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

I think it's terrible how she can even compare something happening in a pseudo-virtual television programme to something so devastatingly real and tragic.

I feel for her, I really do

Publicity £ Money from a "miscarriage" - I'm seriously having trouble thinking of anything lower.

Its even lower than getting the sympathy publicity £££££ with pretend bowel cancer while she was actually getting liposuction

The media are the media and they will print whatever they want to no matter what Jade says to them. I wonder what she actually quoted in the first place because I guarantee it has been distorted beyond recognition!

I'm neither a Jade supporter nor a Jade basher; I think what she did in the house was disgraceful and unacceptable though. Since then I'm not sure how much she is in control of her life and looking at her strange behaviour, I doubt she is in control of much of it. Has being in the public eye become such a huge part of her life that even negative attention is positive for her? Who knows? Who knows if the tabloids are embellishing the stories they get hold of to make them into the nasty little ones they run with now?
Has Jade decided to sell this story for more money and publicity? Again who knows?

I worry for her because she is a young woman who was thrust into the media limelight and it gave her so much. Now she is a wealthy young mother who has all money can buy but those emotions are still the same.
I hope she is seeking help as I think there is a lot going inside of her. I pity her but do not blame her; she is the product of her upbringing and then what the public wanted her to be.

My thoughts go out to those HERE who grieve every Christmas, Birthday and anniversary when loved ones are not there.

SHAMED Jade Goody has revealed she feared her miscarriage was “God’s punishment” for her behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother.

This is a sad situation for Jade and Jack and this comment is sad to see, but understandable, as Jade Goody just feels that everything has just gone from bad to worse, ever since CBB5 So this comment would be just a "despair comment", but not meant, I assure you

Jade, 26, was 12 weeks pregnant when she lost the baby she was expecting with toyboy lover Jack Tweed, 19, last month.

So near, but yet so far. Now it is just a memory, a bad one, which hopefully Jade & Jack can get through

And the loudmouth — whose career went into freefall following the Celebrity BB racism storm — said the miscarriage had sent her reeling into a “dark time.”

They refer to Jade Goody as a loudmouth. Well, they can print what they like, can't they!!! Typical Media.

The CBB5 race furore was a terrible experience for Jade Goody and the miscarriage just adds to the pain

She said: “After the miscarriage I did ask, ‘Why is all this happening?’ I thought it was God’s punishment for something I’d done.

Despair talk, just like I said above. Many other women who have miscarriages, will look for answers, even though there isn't any really.

“This year it’s been one thing after another. But after losing the baby I felt I’d never recover.”

Jade feels like that now, but it will dissipate over time

Following her stint on the Channel 4 show in January — where she hit the headlines for bullying Bollywood princess Shilpa Shetty — Jade’s perfume and autobiography were withdrawn from sale.

Yeah, Yeah, we are sick of hearing that repetative cr*p:bored: If they withdaw stuff from sale, then just buy it on Ebay. The place which sells Jade Goody stuff all day, every day.

In February she checked in to The Priory in London over depression, before travelling to India in a bid to save her career.

The Priory was just a desperate measure, which didn't work. The trip to India was a good gesture by Jade Goody, and the money was a positive help to a few.

Speaking for the first time since the miscarriage, mum-of-two Jade admitted she was overjoyed when she discovered she was pregnant.

Naturally:thumbs:

She said: “I was shocked at first, but after such a horrible few months, having a baby was something I could finally look forward to.

It was a glimmer of hope for better things to come

“I dreamt of having a girl and even secretly imagined dressing her in pink.”

Nice thought. A Mini-Jade, wearing pink

However, Jade said the miscarriage nearly broke her spirit, adding: “It got to the point where I thought, ‘What else can happen?’. I tortured myself asking why. It was a dark time but I had to put on a brave face for my sons.

Terrible news

“Last week a woman hugged me in the street. I just broke down. But then I get worried people will think I’m crying for sympathy.”

Jade is NOT crying for sympathy, it is just a nervous reaction which any woman in that situation could go through

She told Closer magazine: “Last year, everything I touched turned to gold.”

Endemol changed that:rolleyes:

Jade says she is still determined to pick up her career.

She will succeed:thumbs: "Relentless" is the word she is looking for:wink:

If you fight on, you will win....

Sorry, but where in the article did Jade ever say it was punishment for CBB? She said “After the miscarriage I did ask, ‘Why is all this happening?’ I thought it was God’s punishment for something I’d done." No mention of CBB in that. I think the press have just assumed that she meant CBB but she never said it.

Losing a baby must be a very difficult thing to go through and im sure many women go though it diffrently.

So every woman that has a miscarrage is being punished, oh shut up jade.

She didnt say that. She said she felt like she was being punished.

Well she has the right to think that she is punished for her actions. I question my actions sometimes, when bad thinks happen, so if thats what she thinks, good for her. That mwans she will probably do lots of soul searching and change her ways.
I personally dislike Jade very much because of celeb BB, but everyone deserves redemtion and a second chance. So I feel bad for her and her boyfriend for losing their baby!

I think “punishment from God” is the most disgusting thing I’ve heard for a long time. The whole article is absolutely insane and just terrible.
