[Billionaire ex-Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone
"swerved jail" by pleading guilty to a £400m fraud
and handing over £652m in tax, the Metro says.
The 92-year-old was due to face trial
next month but in a "surprise" hearing at
Southwark crown court, he pleaded guilty to a
single charge of fraud by false representation,
the paper adds.]

Lock him up. People go away for years for much less sums. Saved by his status. Disgusting.

With prisons being too full for violent criminals, it shouldn't be a priority to lock people up for monetary crimes, they're not a danger to the public.
