'You just see it as a preventative of cheating'

The doctorhttps://content.invisioncic.com/Mrangmedia/emoticons/craphead.gif, 24, spoke positively about sexually non-monogamous marriages or
relationships in which both parties are happy with their partner sleeping with other people.

Matty, who described himself as a 'hippy' who likes to 'live free' before entering
the house last week, suggested Olivia should open her mind towards open
relationships despite her not being able to imagine herself in such a situation.

I certainly don't believe that he's a doctor or that he's only 24

Years ago you had to show your passport, I don’t know if that’s the case but would imagine so.

I agree that I doubt he is a Dr but his age, I think he's about 6.

Lol @ people thinking an open relationship is an actual relationship.

It's basically polyamorous , but some of them still think it's an actual relationship.

If they're both happy good luck to them both. It's difficult to find a decent doctor Matty would be a good one to have.

Each to their own of course, but I always find myself rolling my eyes when those in open relationships always go off on some massive spiel about why they’re in one and the benefits of it etc etc…

Just admit you want your cake AND you want to eat it

I’m not fussed if people want to be in an open relationship. If it suits them, that’s cool. It’s not for me though.

He didn't look like he believed what he was saying, I bet his bf didn't really want a(n exclusive) relationship with him, so was like "um yeah sure we're going out, but we're open!"

Exactly. I think people getting all up in arms about it is weird, it's not your relationship so why care :joker:

I'd never be in one myself though.

Probably similar to swingers, where you'll likely get 1 person more into it than the other.

This tbh.

Doesn’t bother me in the slightest what anyone wants to do in their relationship. It’s their relationship and no one else’s business.
People are far too quick to judge what other people do in their lives.

I am more than OK with him living how he chooses, no one's being hurt, but I dislike the way that he tries to gaslight Olivia here.

It came across as him saying that she was somehow lesser or less enlightened for not sharing his view on it and that she could reprogram her worldview to be somehow better. That he was somehow superior because he likes to **** around.

The truth is that her views and preferences on it were equal to his. His lifestyle is not 'progressive', it's just an alternative.

He needs to respect others and the way that they choose to live as much as he expects the same from them.

I think you can still be classed as junior doctor before specialist training. But my knowledge on the medical world is limited.

I know quite a few couples who've been in long term open relationships (7+ years minimum) and it's worked beautifully for them  if you both want the same thing and there's a strong communication and understanding between the couple then there shouldn't be any issues. :)

Tends not to work when they've been dating for like 3 months though :joker:
