View Full Version : Jail. An adequate punishment?
Kate!

So Hallie and Olivia, in bright orange jumpsuits, have been incarcerated in the Tibb jail, located outside in the garden.
Is this an adequate punishment? Yay or nay?
Poll incoming.

Of course not but they don’t have the balls to put them up for Eviction or take their noms away. This series has lost major points from me based on that

Banned from next weeks noms would have been better
The actually kicked the first BB legend out for doing similar.

Nay! As someone else said, it’s more opportunity for airtime.
However, i liked that BB embarrassed them.

Nope terrible punishment. Like I said in the other thread, I feel like BB is dropping the ball with a lot of things this series.
Of course not but they don’t have the balls to put them up for Eviction or take their noms away. This series has lost major points from me based on that
…it should have come from BB as a punishment but I think it’ll still come from the other housemates and they’re both going to be up for eviction next week anyway…this is the biggest reason now that the other have had so far…
It’s just given them the extra screen time they crave above all else

Yes it was apt.
Big brother sees everything and knows what they said they said was the truth. They even narrated most of what they were doing for big brother..
And both of them are sorry, it's just the spiteful poor me's noki and matty making drama out of nothing. Onlynperaon who should be upset is zak, but hes already forgiven them.

They were pathetic.
Why are the producers letting Halle verbally abuse them AGAIN !!
Incidentally this is how many teenagers ( especially girls) talk to teachers these days ..

If i was in BB, and had broken the rules, i would take it on the chin. It's a once in a lifetime experience, i would have just got on with it. Obviously had i been sat in the pissing hard rain waiting for a bus for 2 hours after a full days work, i'd be miserable.

Yes..do you know what the word sorry sounds like on a TV?
Kate!

They did both say sorry, Olivia seemed sincere, Hallie not as much.

I could argue that they are working.
But I'm working tomorrow and dont want to get into it. I just didnt find them pathetic. The conversations hallie had with zak and the fact olivia was ashamed for all to see gave me more insight into their character. So I just dont see their reactions as pathetic.

They were not sorry at all ..
They even said that it wasn’t so deep ( so bad ) ..

When BB announced it I thought no, not harsh enough
But you can't say they didn't suffer.
The only problem is they were more focused on their suffering than what they'd done to the others so you could possibly say it was too harsh

Nothing innocent about it. Nothing 'just' about it either
I don't know how they thought they'd get away with it

When I heard it was jail, I thought it was a bit of a pathetic punishment, but the fact that it was pouring down with rain made it somewhat justifiable.
I think the bigger punishment was letting the house know what was written.

This basically sums up my view. I would have liked to have seen them added to this week’s list of nominated housemates alongside Zak and Henry. Failing that, they should have taken away their opportunity to nominate next week.

Health and safety rules just wouldn’t allow it! 😁 In fact, I’m surprised they allowed 1.5 hours, or whatever it was!
…back in the day, haven’t the whole house faced eviction for similar things …?…and that really starts to shake the house …so that would have been very interesting and BB do have to grab their audience and fan base back with all of the reality TV to compete with…I think they missed an opportunity there…also, one of the things back in the day as well was inconsistency, which also could alienate viewers with…oh, how is it that they got this punishment but they only got…?…type thing…and as we know in life, we like to see consistency and fairness etc…so this has now set a the stance for them to take in future houses…break the rules and be given a ‘punishment’ that will give you more airtime, hmmmmmmm…maybe I’m overthinking, I don’t know…

Pathetic weak punishment , like the lady on the panel said "we've all been in the rain it's not a punishment" . Ok they were getting wet in a little jail cell ,but that was it   . Wow they stand in the rain for 10 minutes.
Taking away their rights to nominate or putting them up for eviction ... would have been the best punishment.
Hailie's next punishment is enen more ridiculous, she walks around with a poster and a silly hat ....yep that'll teach her BB you big ruthless one :bored: .

This is what I hate aswell ,the inconsistency
I just hope if someone outside the Kerry group broke the rules.....that it's the same treatment from now on. Otherwise that would be massively unfair, and it will make BB look like they have favourites.
I didn't expect BB to put the whole house up ,but It would have been interesting if we had one of these more valid punishments ......
1.No hot water untill further notice
2.Take nominations away from Hailie & Liv
3.Put both Hallie & Liv up for eviction
4. Or show all the hm's what they've said in nominations
Seeing it rain was fitting .....but still weak .

Didn't necessarily mind the jail thing but I hated the fact that they were just isolated outside in the garden, meaning nobody actually saw them being punished. Should've had the jail in the living room so they had no choice but to look at everyone else talking about them.
