Why do people think Olivia is genuine?. Is it just because next to Hallie...she shows more ' remorse'? .

I personally don't think either of them are sorry, they're just sorry they got caught.... Olivia might feel a little guilty, but that's about it . Hallie doesn't give a damn. And both of them together are like school kids gossiping and throwing tantrums....when they don't get their own way.

They can make excuses all they want. But they knew it was wrong to write messages & secret codes. If it was innocent ,then it wouldn't be about nominations or other hm's. They chose to be sly & sneaky .

And it's their own fault,if other hm's are keeping an eye on them now.

Shes definietly having a better outcome because of how Hallie is acting.

I do think Olivia is quite genuine in her apology.

Hallie is so terrible that's why.

How can they say it was ' just a mistake ' , the knew what they were doing :bored: . And Olivia definitely thought Hallie was writing 'Noky'

…in the moment she seemed/seems sorry, we’ll never know, though so we just have to make a heart call…if someone smiles, we don’t see remorse…if someone looks remorseful, then we assume that what they feel…

I think she was sorry but more relieved as she thought she was being kicked out

She is genuine and a much better person than that guttersnipe Hallie

did Olivia even attempt to apologise? At least Hallie tried to make a menz, Olivia just strutted around without a care in the world as far as I could see

Olivia just did a group apology..... at the sitting area when they were all sat around.

But tbh I found Hallie's 1 to 1 apologies insincere anyway.

I think, to some degree, both Olivia and Hallie are misunderstood. Hear me out.

They're both very young, and Big Brother is a pressure cooker. Both seemed repentant to me.

Tom seems to be handling it....

The way they strut around full of their own importance...being opinionated... does not indicate to me that they are feeling under any pressure of living in the house.

They are just immature and spoilt...

Not sorry at all. That cough cough privilege cough is seeping through. Also they both tried to play dumb "what does vindictive mean?" *rolls eyes

It's difficult. There's an expectation that you show remorse if you're apologising so some people work really hard to show it because they feel the need to prove they're sorry. It's fake because it's being overemphasised, but there is often a more genuine but more subtle remorse underneath the display.

Olivia's behaviour after the apology will show more about her real feelings

I felt Olivia was genuinely more apologetic than Hallie as she apologised pretty much straightaway without being prompted to.
