First record was "Don't let the sun go down on me" by Nik Kershaw. I got it on 12 inch....still have it too

Sooo I was dragged kicking and screaming to a friend of a friends party ..


Anyways as I walked into the main room someone put Paranoid ( the song) on and it was turned up loud !!

If felt almost life changing as I’d never heard anything like it after years of listening to progressive stuff like Yes and Genesis etc

Good choice. Love the film. When I watched it at the theatre loads of annoying little kids screaming all around me. Ruined the experience.

Oh my Lord I loved Adam and the Ants

Those melodies and those crazy drum beats and the VIDEOS !

Our son is about 36 now and still regularly plays those songs .. he grew up with them blasting out of the speakers :)
