She's not thinking rationally I guess, it only changed how many were up, giving Trish a better chance.

I find her a bit self-involved tbh. Dylan and Trish were the ones actually nominated yet had to spend half the time comforting and reassuring her as she cried and talked about how sad she was
The way the house rallied round her plus the fact she received no noms also shows that she's very popular in there but has tried to give the impression a few times that people don't like her or don't want to talk to her etc

She knows that being Asian and acting cute is a free pass to the final. Whether consciously or not, people (viewers and housemates) baby housemates like her and Kat BB9. No-one expects them to be anything other than the kooky lovely foreigner so all they have to do is play along and they're golden.
Shes as sly as they come.

It was a definite overreaction to a situation that wasn’t that serious, but everyone can be guilty of them every now and then, don’t think she was purposefully overdoing it
She is a complete fake, there were zero tears with her wailing

And in her head she probably feels responsible for Trish & Dylan... but mostly Trish being up. Their friendship is solid and real, she's scared Trish will go !.... and i believe her emotions even if it feels over the top  .

Not a tear in her eyes she was digging her knuckles in them but nothing came out, reminded me of those murderous mothers in the police interrogations I watch on You Tube, still it was great entertainment.
…I think when directors guide their actors in a hugely emotional scene..a scene of showing complete devastation etc…it’ll now be called doing a Yinrun and it’ll be a great traumatic and dramatic scene…she wasn’t milking it, she was feeling it right through to her very core and that lady was done wrong…/…a wrongful imprisonment calls for a little more milk in your tea, maybe…

Noky was accused of being fake when she cried when Zak left yet Yinrun can bawl for England at the mere suggestion one of her friends are up for eviction the double standards in there  She cried when Henry was up as well, I would say she needs to grow up but its just fake bawling

Am I the only one who understood that she was only sad because Trish is up for eviction? It was nothing to do with the rule break or the punishment. Her best friend in the house might leave on Friday and she's distraught, that's it. Was her reaction a bit much? Yes. Though I think you can understand her a bit better if you take notice of the actual cause of her distress.

It was an over reaction and a little forced but she felt guilty and obviously terrible as they said her voided noms changed outcomes. I felt for her but in all honestly I did laugh a little at the fake wailing.

…yeah in looking back and thinking about it, I get that also…that, that was a huge part of her distress…poor Yinrun, she kind of blundered it and I would say, doesn’t have any tactical type traits…I guess, hence her voicing stuff out loud to Henry and feeling uncertain with it all…

she was bascially asking Henry if she should vote tactically, not sure what part of the rule 'no nom discussion' is weak, particularly during the process!

She was upset that her punishment changed the outcome and put people up who maybe wouldn't have been. It's actually a huge thing (in the context of the house and the game).
She is allowed that.
Her being upset and being regretful didn't hurt anyone, I don't see why it's considered bad.

Your rant is well warranted Mock.:joker:
I've agreed with it.
As to Yinrun, I think she did overdo things.
It wasn't a strong punishment although I felt it was a weak rule break anyhow.
I think she had after all said much about breaking rules that to find herself pulled up for breaking them.
Left her unsure how to cope with that.
Had they actually shown her noms to the others.
Her embarrassment would have been greatly increased.

Yes plus she had been found to have broken the rules
All the above led her being so upset and inconsolable for so long

Yeah it's obvious she was more upset about Trish being up ,you could tell in the garden...she was saying she isn't bothered about jail .
And in the storeroom when she got her jumpsuit she felt so bad for Trish ...she said " how can Trish be up " , she's worried for her friend...which I found sweet. Even if the crying was a bit hammy lol.

No, I think the key word in Jayson's post is infantile. He's not saying she isn't Asian at all. That would be silly.
