View Full Version : Were the bedroom antics disrespectful?
Benjamin

Yinrun, Dylan, Trish and Kerry had been sleeping for ages and then Paul, Tom, Noky and Olivia came in messing around and trying to wake the others up. Would you be annoyed?
Kate!
29-10-2023, 09:00 PM
Yes, but then I'd probably end up joining in
I was more annoyed nothing happened as a result.
Every potential argument in this series is causing blue balls in the viewership.

Yeah it was completely unreasonable. I’d be pissed off

.
Disgusting disrespectful behaviour.
Olivia comes over as very common with her language and giving the finger.
If she has something to say then say it to Dylan’s face rather than after he has left the room.

Selfish twats….they did it deliberately. Have a pillow fight in the living room. No respect…
Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot…there would be hell to pay.

…hopefully just giving reasons for nominations….
Yeah can't defend it really, disappointed Noky got involved although Paul and Olivia were the main instigators
…they were as they could be playful in another room but for me, the equally disrespectful and grim thing was mocking Dylan for being irritated by it and wanting to sleep…having him put his leg on to leave the bedroom and then mocking him…

Yes…they deliberately went in there to annoy them all. Probably pissed because they constantly steal the booze night after night.

Yes, and annoying af and I don’t blame Dylan and Kerry et al for being pissed off. However, i think it has to be expected in there. We’ve seen it before in previous series’.

Wonder if Kerry ever reminds them that she has MS and probably does get tired and need to sleep early sometimes.
If olivia/paul get hold of the nomination power tomorrow we have a pretty good idea who they will put up. Equally, they will be up if the others get the power

Henry was part of that group as well. Laughing like a hyena on the bed at Olivia.

I'd say yes overall.
However from the start of the first of the BB series it has been the case of some disruption at or through the nights.
So anyone going on should expect some disruption.
If it was every night then it would be draining.
However too for me, if it disturbed and irritated Kerry I'd likely have laughed at it myself.

I think it is a given to expect it to happen as it has happened pretty much every BB series. I think they could have done it in the lounge though to have the best of both worlds. Plus wasn't it Tom's idea about the lettuce so he initiated things and then it lead to the pillow fight.
I liked seeing Jordan, Henry and Noky etc all join in.

Are you talking about when they were all on the main living area throwing bottle corks at each other

More the loudness of a night and interupted sleep, don't recall throwing corks in previous years - socks maybe instead.
It sounds like Trish is considering waiting until Paul , Tom and Olivia are asleep then going crazy to wake them all up ..
Hope she knows what she’s doing
I was wondering if anyone was ever going to do something like that as revenge. :grin2: Good on Trish, I say.

Well she told the others what she was planning and apologised in advance for disturbing them as well .. she laughingly said that they would be collateral damage .

Omg this sounds like some juicy drama?!?
Omg this sounds like some juicy drama?!?
She may decide that it’s not such a good idea after all … there was that lettucegate incident in the bedroom and Trish said she wanted to jump in and protect Kerry but she decided that she doesn’t have to be ‘that’ person … and if she had got involved then it wouldn’t all be about Kerry or the inconsiderate individuals at
it would’ve been about her again .

when have youngsters ever been respectful of anyone else when they are having a bit of fun
AnnieK

It wasn't respectful....and would have been annoying but I think chucking the lettuce all over Kerry when she was in bed was more disrespectful.
when have youngsters ever been respectful of anyone else when they are having a bit of fun
…and when, when that bit of fun and little respect is shown in the context of Big Brother etc….has it all not contributed to building layers of how we feel about housemates…our favourites and non favourites etc……and it’s a natural thing to associate how we would feel ourselves about something etc…as in, when we need sleep…when has it ever been ok for anyone to disturb/disrupt/prevent that sleep to just have a bit of fun…
…I can understand ‘youngsters’ having fun as you say or wanting to have fun and lacking in thought in doing that….but then when they realised that what they were doing showed no consideration and was upsetting people…what then…?…Olivia mocked, she put her middle finger up which huge exaggeration as well…not a great look at all, whatever the age…and they’re all much older than Hallie for instance, when age wasn’t figured in so much to inconsiderate behaviour…
…I’ve liked Olivia from the beginning and the rowdy stuff last night for me was one layer …but her behaviour following on and toward Dylan…so disappointing…it was very mean imo….
…when youngsters realise that people are being upset by their bit of fun etc…to then begin to mock quite sneeringly with their response to that upset…isn’t a youngster thing…
Well she told the others what she was planning and apologised in advance for disturbing them as well .. she laughingly said that they would be collateral damage .

They should get up early and make a big racket in doing so
Most series you often get a couple of early risers who potter about putting the kettle on etc but none of this lot seem to wake up until BB puts the lights on, normally after 10am

I’d sum it up as they didn’t kick a ball and it accidentally broke a window
They aimed the ball at the window kicked it, it broke the window and they celebrated the fact

Horrible, and I went off Olivia a little last night as she tried to cut ties with Kerry as well, she doesn't need to babysit Kerry, Jenkin was right on that score, and then the behaviour towards Dylan although he wasn't in the room

that was so odd  why
i think Olivia is having a meltdown of her very own. If she is up for eviction tonight, she could be out on her ass

I'd hate to be on BB Mock.
Love watching it :joker:
However I only need 5/6 hours sleep a night anyhow.
As long as it wasn't every night then I think I'd more like enjoy the antics.
Possibly even join in.
Some people are night owls and some aren't.
If you choose to go into a house with people you originally know nothing of.
Then there needs to be a higher tolerance level applied.
If you can't do that, DON'T go in at all.

Watching what went on in that actually made me a bit mad.
My distaste for that group of Olivia, Jenkens,, etc grows deeper every day. Olivia especially is just a twat.
If I was in there it would have gone off. They have a whole house to be imbeciles in until whatever time they want. What they did there was simply malicious and actually a form of bullying.

Not sure what Jenkin has done, he wasn't part of it, and he Tom and Chanelle had their own little group which now seems to be invaded by Olivia and Paul as they want to distance themselves from Kerry

I'm done with them all.

Piping up gets you nommed and numbers-wise that group is very strong.
They 100% know this and know that the others can't do anything about it.

Yeah, that was about it. I don’t have an issue if they want to throw things and be loud to entertain themselves, and the cork throwing with Henry and Jordan was amusing- but their behaviour in the bedroom wasn’t necessary - it was a clear and conscious choice to annoy others and just seemed childish and immature to me, considering they are all twenty somethings and not teenagers. That, I don’t find entertaining as a viewer.

In fact, Jenkin has told them a couple of times recently to leave people alone when they are in bed or asleep, and he’s seemed particularly protective over Kerry being disturbed. He spoke out when they were putting lettuce on Kerry as she slept earlier in the evening.
To his credit, I think Jenkin has the maturity to draw lines, whilst some of the others choose not to.

I would hate it if I was prevented from sleeping by childish antics. They should have played in the living room and left the hms who wanted to sleep alone.
Think there's a chance Olivia would vote for Kerry and vice versa, provided they're both still in the house after this possession nomination thing? Olivia seems to resent being associated with Kerry after Hallie's exit, given what she said to Jenkin and co. And I can only imagine how furious Kerry is with Olivia and Paul for acting up in the bedroom.

Pretty much this
I found them irritating and annoying for the sake of it ,and we all know if Hallie was still there she'd be involved in the silly behaviour aswell:rolleyes: .
Yes they were, it looked awful on TV. Olivia needs to get herself out and away back up the road. Vile specimen.
Paul ls just as bad, the hyperventilating chimp is a twat.
And noky, yuk! What a fake bitch.
At least Tom's just joining in for something to do, and the least annoying of all those arseholes.
