View Full Version : Tom was on the Kavos Weekender

What does this guy have on ITV casters they they've now put him in two reality shows when he's so devoid of personality?
Also becoming clear that a lot of these housemates have been around the fringes of media spotlight for a while and might well have been handpicked. Generally it's been a good cast but I'd like them to still rethink their approach a bit next series to avoid wasting housemate spots on the likes of Tom

Yeah I can’t understand how Tom’s in there tbh. He’s incredibly uninteresting

Was he dull on that show too?

I think it was just the usual video applications
It would be great, and a smart move, if they were to revert back to open auditions like they used to around locations throughout the UK

This just isn't a thing anymore like nobody would turn up which was a major reason X Factor got axed because very little people turned up to auditions

Graphic design is Kavos Weekender's passion
I don't dislike Tom, but he's just sort of there. I always find it strange how housemates like that actually end up on the show. Was he just extremely different and outgoing in his audition process that made them think "Yes, out of 50,000 applicants you are one of the most interesting 16 that we can possibly find!" :conf:

X Factor never held open auditions. The judges would see around 20 acts per day that had been pre-selected by producers and had already gone through several rounds. The huge crowds queuing up to "audition" that we would see on the show was actually the audience queuing up to go inside, and they would take the acts out and stand them in the queue for a few minutes to do an "interview" to make it look like they had been standing there all day and that there were thousands all queuing up to audition. X Factor was cancelled because its ratings absolutely disintegrated in its final few years.

But queuing up to see what? For the majority of the show's run, the audition was held in just a room with the four judges and the camera crew. The big audience only came in around the last few years of its run, during which it started to suck. :joker:

Not true. Raph was from here. He was a regular before he went on BB.

Open auditions cost a lot of money
Plus people would still be put in front of the production team

Bb12 had a cut of age of 30
I got to the production team stage had a good chat and a laugh at the end they said enjoy the rest of your day
There is a big difference being in front of someone and making a video that you can do over and over to get it right

Watch Tom copy Paul & Dylan with his nominations this week. Sniveling rat.

Yeah, and you will notice looking back at old series with the room auditions that the interviews usually take place indoors, not in the "queue" outside.
