The good old days of BB. This year has to be one of the worst sadly, but as a fan of the show I hope it gets back to its best.

I think they should make Paul , Tom & Jenkin cleaners and gardeners . BB should make them scrub the house top to bottom with their bare hands .

They probably had a pre written list depending on who pressed the buzzer.

It was a different show back then, and I don’t think there’s any chance of it coming back in that way.

Big Brother will keep failing to take off if they can't at least replicate the basics of Channel 4 Big Brother.
The producers keep trying to turn BB into a more scripted Reality Show like TOWIE and LI, when the audiences in general are looking for a very different tone for BB.

I don't think we'll ever get a stripped back to basics BB again.

I think having a proper Live Feed system is the only way for Big Brother in any country to be popular again, it was one of it's unique selling points along with VTE that stopped it from feeling like Survivor or I'm A Celeb.
I'm not saying to go back to BB1 days per say, but getting at least the core elements of BB down with a 24/7 Live Feed service on ITV X would be a good start.
I don't want BBUK to fail, but unfortunately for whatever reason the people making the Show over the last few series do not seem to understand what made BB so big in the first place.
Instead of chasing trends/fads, BB was often the Show that all of the other Reality TV Shows would try and copy, nowadays unfortunately it's the other way around.
I do agree with you that the production will never reverse their decision, in fairness due to the harassment that certain contestants would get from some fans after the Show.

............sadly current BB is as much about product placement....................

The original BB was over 20 years ago. It's just not relevant anymore. It had to change for the modern age

Harassment? , in what way ? .
Sadly BB producers care more about turning BB into other copies of reality shows ,even down to the background music .
