View Full Version : Olivia, Jenkin, Tom and Paul “icing out” Chanelle

She looked raging at their childish behaviour.
I liked how she walked off before Tom got a chance to get out the line he practiced
…it really is playground bully behaviour…‘you’re talking to them so your punishment is that we won’t talk to you…’…

Chanelle kinda made her bed with that group so I didn't really have huge sympathy for her but they are a horrible bunch of pricks

It's definitely bullying behaviour. BB should keep an eye on it.

True, I think at that moment her facial expression showed her realising she’d made the wrong choice.
A badly executed practical joke, they should have waited until she finished her conversation then it would have been funny for chanelle as well. But Paul's hyperventilating chimp act got the better of them all, and all the little chimps, followed the leader and started shouting her over.
Only the slightly braindamaged silverback, slightly unaware at how things were panning out across the room on Chanelle's angry botox face for being rudely interrupted had the decency to apologise.
…if Chanelle distances herself from them and Paul goes on Friday …they won’t really be a group anymore…
It's all edited. You do know they splice things together from different times and different conversations to make things up that actually didn't really happen?
You take it too seriously.
Sorry for spoiling your reality.
Niamh.

The upstairs gang are nice enough to let her sit with them though
This is why it was better in the old days when we had 24 hour live feed.
Now you get a scripted soap opera.

Well that group showed their true colours tonight…vile little group. Tom is such a weasel..Jenkins nailed himself to the mast and I hope Chanelle stands her ground and finally sees some sense.

Awful behaviour. They make me feel so uncomfortable.
It was horrible to her and also horrible to Yinrun and Noky who were actually trying to have a nice conversation with her about her job, real attempt to make them feel self conscious and isolated

Unfortunatly true. It is just like channel5. But its just the begining, maybe this time it goes backwards so the series get better as they go on, rather than gradually worse like they did.

Exactly
Jenkin was even getting on her nerves , and they're supposed to be really close.
Chanelle plays both sides of the fence, but Olivia's group are nasty bullies and Chanelle should have seen this coming.

It wasn’t very nice, even if it was a just a joke. Olivia basically saying talking to Yinrun is boring.
I’m glad Chanelle didn’t just let it go.
That whole scene was very strange. I can't understand how they wouldn't realise that they were coming across as total immature bullies.
…So disappointing that the one who has been closest to Chanelle was the one who was particularly nasty as well…I mean, I know that the whole thing of ‘icing her out’ was grim but then as she walked away, saying that she was off to wash her face…those spiteful comments that Jenkin said of …yeah, you need to wash it with all the **** on your lips…/..or similar…also with Jenkin, when she explained later to him, how it all made her feel etc…and he said, yeah, yeah, yeah in indicating he understood…and then he stood up and walked through the room and smiled as though he really wasn’t giving it any thought at all in reality…he was still all for enjoying the isolation of Chanelle…so disappointing…

Chanelle handled those clowns almost perfectly.
Jenkin showed how easily led he is too. Went (further) down in my estimations.
It's what has struck me about this series of BB, they are all so juvenile. There are only a couple of adults in the room

She only used to hang out with Jenkin and Tom, its only since Hallie left that Olivia decided to join them as we witnessed with her saying she felt she had to sit with Kerry, and brought Paul with her, as Henry said Tom is a nice guy but is badly influenced by Paul, Chanelle has seen Jenkin and Tom change before her eyes, think she handled what happened very well

Yep that seems like a good summary of the situation. Tom was always the go between, like you said it's only since Hallie and Kerry left that Paul and Olivia have made Chanelle and jenkin part of some "group" and it looks like Chanelle isn't happy with being in that divide.

Imagine if Jenkin was " iced out" , he'd probably throw a tantrum...yet he thinks it's ok act like a bully. I've noticed Jenkin is a bit like Hallie...he loves being annoying but when other people annoy him ,then he sulks .

This is worse than any c5 series. Week 5 could be the end of my BB viewing if the snobs are the only ones left in the final week. It feels morally wrong to watch people in the most affluent areas battling to get their hands on the 100k. When that money could buy a poor person a house.

Hopefully they lose support, anyone who treats Yinrun like crap...will hopefully decrease their chances of winning lol.

…I think that the Welsh connection has bonded them as well, GH…in how close they’ve seemed …so the icing out, not only being a group bully thing but a Welsh on Welsh crime specifically from Jenkin…(…obviously I’m not being serious..)…

I saw someone say last night that it looks like Jenkin and Tom were not so popular in school, so now they feel like they’re finally part of the ‘cool gang’ they’re doing everything they can so stay within the circle, even if it means acting like little pricks and honestly, I think it’s completely spot on

…yeah, it definitely has many shades of that, Liam…but then, it may be that for Paul, also…it’s all a very textbook thing of …’better to be the bully than the bullied…’….especially when having that personal experience of knowing how cruel and unpleasant the targeting can be

…this is what I like about housemates being evicted who have had lots of airtime and been the centre of drama events…we start to see the ‘background’ characters emerge more…bit by bit, step by step…they’re going out of that door when we see them/when we’re on to them……

Jenkins was the only one to go over and apologise but you won't mention that part in your tirades about him on here.
Well hopefully they will have pushed her to the ‘other side’ which would unbalance the team numbers ..
From 6:6 to 7 :5
Then maybe she will entice Jenkin across as well
It’s only a MAYBE

I’ve barely mentioned the lad. Also, i take that apology with a large barrel of salt. He still went off pulling stupid faces at his silly new mates. Chanelle deserves better.

…I said that really because them both being Welsh did seem to be part of the bond they both shared and a part of what connected them, you know…whereas with Trish and Dylan, they didn’t seem to have any similar type of connection…I hope the expression didn’t offend with our Welsh people…but there is sometimes a connection of familiars in backgrounds or environments etc that help form those friendship things…

I’ve posted this elsewhere but …
In a perfect world Chanelle ( if she was a tad brighter ) would see the light and join the Upstairs gang ..
That would unbalance the numbers from 6:6 to 7:5 and then Jenkin may join her … making 8:4 ..
…. and if / when Dylan and Paul get evicted that would leave a fairly pleasant group of 8 against Olivia and TomTom

I can't put my finger on Chanelle , but I wish she'd pick a side and stay there ...instead of going from group to group.
Zak ,Noky & Dylan use to be the floaters, and it never worked out .
You can't be everyone's friend in BB ,and we all know she's part of Olivia's group .
