Housemates find out the truth about their Aussie visitor...

Messing with minds is Big Brother's Speciality du Jour. This week the housemates' were served a plate of lies with a fake on the side - and it's time all was revealed...

Housemates were given two minutes to position themselves on 12 podiums - ranging from least fake to most fake member.

With unsurprising commotion, the bickering started. "It doesn't matter where we go as long as we all agree," said Chanelle diplomatically.

But Brian was obviously disturbed. He knew 'Pauline' was the fake, but wouldn't get a party if he revealed the secret.

But, in the dying seconds, he took a chance...

"I think we should put Pauline at the end," he said, "because we don't know her as well, yeah?"

"To be fair. Nothing against you Pauline," he added, and, with a stroke of genius, kissed her on the cheek.

Big Brother then instructed housemates to gather on the sofas as 'Pauline' was called to the Diary Room.

The grand announcement followed shortly, as Big Brother revealed 'Pauline' was not from Australia and was, in fact, an actress from Swindon... and by identifying her as the most fake, housemates had passed their Shopping Task.

"Yes!" shouted Liam triumphantly, "I snogged an actress!"

"Well done housemates," said 'Pauline', appearing on the plasma. "You worked out that I was the fakest housemate in the House. It was so nice to meet you all and I've had an amazing time."

Aw Liam... at least Swindon's a little closer to home...

It's all over already and I was liking Pauline too.

Definately ended too soon and sadly it was a let down.

Liked Pauline and would have loved to have seen her flirt with the HMs but this never happened.....Only daft meditation and reading dinner plates.

BB missed a big oppertunity to create mayhem and paranoia with the other housemates by getting rid of "Pauline" after only a few days. She could have REALLY messed with thier minds. I thought she'd have been in there a week at the very least.
Looking forward to the fake eviction though. .. i love the hornets nest being stirred up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could actually see Brian's brain working overtime thinking was he ruining the task by moving Pauline to the most fake and swapping her with Charlie yesterday. He was as nervous as hell but had Charley 'big gob' shouting that she wasn't fake while others claiming it was just a task!

That girl needs to get over herself but then again she has made some extremely watchable moments. :wink:

Big brother should have made it so it was impossible for them to guess she was fake, who cares if it's a shopping task at least it was entertainment.

This was a big let down, not as good a twist as I had though :sad:

i really would have liked her 2 stay a lil bit longer what a ****in let down man waste of time i only started 2 watch again 24/7 coz of her n now she has already gone waste of time :mad::mad:

I missed this twist because I was away, and I was really excited about it. From what I've seen on Youtube clips etc., it seems Thaila pushed it along bit... with Brian finding out and the random task, it's as if she wanted to be out and therefore left ASAP. I can't really say I blamed her though, given the circumstances; she had to be fake 24/7.

I would have liked her to stay longer purely for twists and entertainment value, but not stay as a real housemate as that wasn't the aim or her purpose for being in there. Some of her fellow housemates probably hadn't twigged it at all, and therefore the impact was greater. But they all basically seemed to say bye, and then move on. Well, I suppose she just did as she was told whilst she was there... and for the rest, I'm sure they're prepared for all sorts of things BB can throw at them.
