I think she only gets a free pass as she's not as Vile , and she just sits and agrees . But she's definitely a bit of a snake in situations.

If there's a redemption for Chanelle, and that's a big if, it has to happen soon with her. She had a great opportunity to when she was chatting with Yinrun and called Team Paul out for "icing her out", especially Jenkin, but her now suddenly being extremely pro-Paul is a huge disappointment.

That would have been the perfect time to ditch the garden group,after the " iced out" nonsense. But Chanelle has a strong loyalty to Jenkin though just because they're close & both Welsh , and Jenkin is well and truly part of the mean group. So Chanelle tags along .

Yeah, which is a shame. I did like the dynamic that she, Jenkin and Tom had to begin with, but Paul brought out the worst in all three of them. Tom and Jenkin especially, but Chanelle for how easily led she is.
