Evidently her fellow housemates think Trish is a far stronger woman than her friend apparently does.

Also, what horseshit.

A friend of Big Brother contestant Trish Balusa has reached out to the show's production over concerns for her pal's wellbeing.

The housemate's best friend has taken to Twitter (which has now rebranded to X) to reveal she's been in touch with production after noticing "micro-aggressions" and "racism" aimed towards Trish.

"Spoken to the welfare team today regarding what Big Brother production team is doing to intervene with this micro-aggressions & racism that we are all witnessing Trish experience with no visible intervention [for] her wellbeing or holding those responsible accountable," her message reads.

In a response to a viewer who suggested the show should address some uncomfortable conversations, Trish's friend replied: "I completely agree, I think if they are going to engineer/script certain things they need to also be ready to discuss them honestly. Otherwise what is the point?"

Trish has been having a hard time in the house after her confrontations with Dylan Tennant and Paul Blackburn, who she branded a bully. More recently, she had the deciding vote in a Hunger Games style challenge, ultimately nominating Jenkin Edwards for eviction on his birthday.

In the Diary Room later on, Trish bursted into tears, expressing her guilt.

"Even though I wasn't really happy with him, I didn't want him to have a bad birthday. It's a special day," she said.

"And I don't even feel like I have the right to be upset about it because it feels like I'm manipulating the situation by being sad and I have no right because he should be sad," she continued.

"He was saying, 'It's okay, it's okay,' but you know it's not okay. Nobody's okay with that," she added. "I've been up for nomination twice and it's not an okay feeling."

We aren’t in 24/7 though

Plus if things like Jenkin being dismissive of Yinrun / walking away from her etc … have been going on without us knowing then her claims are entirely feasible imho

The tweet in red was from twitter - @Otheprettyking it was the girl who has appeared on BBLL.

I don't like Chanelle, Olivia, Jenkin, Tom etc, but yes, if you're white and you don't get on with a black person you are clearly a racist.

Why is it crap? Her friend sees the same footage we do.

Her friend has also been on BBLL so may have some insight from that.

They show the same things there as we see.

Not from watching I mean from speaking to people. I would imagine the likes of AJ and Will speak to F&F before/after the show etc.

Because it's clearly not racism, and if it was Trish would stand up to it if she felt she was being singled out because of her race.

Just people desperate to find racism in 2023 when it clearly isn't there. But then, white, straight people are the devil and naturally racist of course.

Yeah but why would they talk to them about stuff like that if production weren’t doing things about it? There’s no logic.

…well no, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything race related involved, either because that would be dismissing it as a possibility …apparently her friend is concerned so she’s taken a correct path of contacting the production team, they have all of the footage and examples would have to be given, so they’re able to look into it…and it’s right, I think…that if someone is concerned about a housemate in the way that’s been reported, that they do express that, which has happened…I can’t see that we all wouldn’t hope for that for all housemates…

This friend is doing more harm than good, another buzz word used and all it does is make certain people want Trish out more.

Every season someone gets a hard time, Freddie BB10, Aaron BB12, to name two of them, it’s not always about race

Be interesting to see how Jenkin & Olivia continue to act now , I'm still not a fan of them. But Chanelle & Tom were dreadful in last night's HL , their irrational dislike for Trish is unhealthy and weird. Especially after they know she has fans and got huge Cheers, it's only dawning on some of them that they might actually be in the wrong.

But Tom & Chanelle will not let go of this grudge, and they're so thick ....they don't realise they've destroyed their chances of winning lmao.

And yeah each year you do get hm's who get a tough time, I just hope Trish continues to get support. You can tell she's exhausted by it all , and it's a cop out how she keeps being labelled as "strong" , she is strong.....but it seems to get used as a way to say " ahhh she'll be fine she can manage".

I hope Trish gets signed up as a motivational speaker or something when she leaves, she's given everyone in that house... advice & therapy for FREE :nono::laugh: .

Yes .. I’d agree with the above

We have not seen / been shown any evidence of racism but only the production team know for sure ..

They didn’t even show us Yinrun learning scouse so gawd knows what kind of things we haven’t seen..

Noky felt genuinely uneasy around Paul yet all we saw was him calling her ‘fake’ until that party moment between the two of them

I’m gonna put a bet on Trish getting a place on Loose Women .. she’s already proved that she’s wiser then anyone on the current rotation panel .

As to Olivia and Jenkin .. sadly I don’t think they have seen the error of their ways.. they just realised that the £100,000 is sailing off into the sunset and they have a 1% chance of being successful if they both suddenly change their tactics ( being nice )

…this was the only choice that I less understood…whatever personal feelings of friendship or whatever with Trish or Olivia…Trish has shown support of different housemates, she’s someone that will be the first to go to and comfort others or defend them or whatever she feels is needed at a time…?…and how many times would the housemates have thought in their lives….oh, mom/dad/grandparent/sibling/friend etc have been that support and comfort when I’ve needed it so I want to give back etc if I can…?…I mean, we all feel that, don’t we…but the thought with Trish was…oh she doesn’t need it, she’s a ‘strong’ gal…but just because she shows strength/emotional and vocal support etc for others…doesn’t mean that she has endless store of it and that she doesn’t need it for herself…and a ‘personal hug’ with a visit from one of her own support group…/her sister and what she might be needing….is something that to, would have been nice to see more thought and not ‘taken for granted’ as it were of a perceived strong person..having said that, it was pretty joyous to see Olivia’s emotions in seeing her sister …and I’m feeling that any ‘loss’ that might have been felt by Trish…?…pretty much began to heal in that moment of seeing Olivia and how much it meant to her…

I also have a theory, I think Tom wanted/ expected Trish to kick off when she didn't see her sister. So that Tom could then turn around and blast her some more awful names ,as he bitches about her :suspect:.

Notice how the gremlins were all surprised how composed Trish was after her sister got ejected, they thought Trish would throw a wobbly....so Tom could call her " aggressive" again, they want ammunition to beat her with like a stick .

But because Trish was chilled mature and proficient about the whole thing , it put Tom & especially Chanelle on a wrong footing....so because they have nothing to bitch about, they decide to still keep blaming her about the killer nom & Paul's eviction, it's really boring and pathetic ...how they're stuck in the past :bored: .

I'm not sure focusing on "microaggressions" is ever going to be beneficial in helping race relations. I presume she's talking about the garden lot as everyone else likes her and they're getting their comeuppances all the time. The public love her too

So apart from her being called aggressive, which is an obviously true statement at times, what are the other micro aggressions then? Anybody? I’ll wait..

Defending and standing up for yourself is ' aggressive ' ? Ok then :idc:. Most the time Trish has a relaxed tone , only seen her really raise her voice to Dylan & Paul.
