View Full Version : Henry's (and Yinrun's) nomination for Noky

Okay quite a bit of discussion about this in the episode thread - do you think it was fair enough?

It seems so ironic that after everyone has been criticising Noky for sitting on the fence and speaking to the garden gang she's actually been nominated because she spent so much time with the upstairs crew. Henry apparently not happy with how she spent a lot of time with them, how dare she seek refuge from the harassment from Paul and co. Tom's nomination for her was actually because she was hanging out with the upstairs crew a lot as well so she really can't win

Yinrun's nomination was also very unfair I think for something several days ago for a moment where Noky was the one on the receiving end of Paul's bollocks. Noky has always been so pleasant to Yinrun too, was Tom really not the better choice there?

Also how many times has Yinrun used Trish to take on all her problems and her issues with other people rather than speaking to them directly?

I like Noky and this is my take on it:

Tom and Yinrun haven’t really had any beef though. I get her reasoning for nominating Noky. To her and others it did look like Noky walked away and left Trish to deal with Dylan in a blazing row even though it was Noky who nominated him. Trish is her bestie in there and to her it looked like Noky betrayed her bestie.

As for Henry, I agree. It did feel as though Noky went to that group only when she needed protection. And then she started to go back to the other group.

I like Noky but I already said before nominations she’s playing a dangerous game by going back to the garden gang.

St Yinrun has been plotting against Noky for weeks :hmph: she tried to turn Trish against her but got nowhere, bet she has been in Henry's ear and Jordan, funny how they have all nommed her now at some point

That’s not gonna help when people can’t decide who to go for between Jenkin and Olivia as their 2nd choice

I thought Yinrun was talking about the row with Paul? no she went back even further than that did she...gosh

She doesn’t hate Noky, her nomination wasn’t spiteful or horrible about her. I don’t think she hates anyone (well apart from Jenkin and Chanelle now).

I could see why she would say it but it doesn’t make it any less disappointing considering neither her nor any of the other upstairs gang have ever stood by or stood up for Trish themselves.

I’m sure Matty did when Chanelle and Olivia tried to bitch about her to him.

But also, the rest are quite meek so probably look to her as their protector.

I think all the nomination reasons were valid this week , who did you expect him to nominate baring in mind he’s friends with all the others and Jenkin was unavailable for a vote ?

But I think it’s been pretty well established that Noky isn’t very confrontational and can be quite meek herself so why do they get a pass but she doesn’t? In the confrontation with Paul, Noky never asked for Trish to stand up for her, yes Trish did it anyway but that doesn’t mean Noky has to make herself even more uncomfortable by joining in.

Because she was never part of the original upstairs gang for the first 3 weeks. She only went to them after it all kicked off for being possessed.

Like I said, I like Noky but I see no issue with nomination reasons given about her.

That we saw… don’t think that makes it okay to only hold her accountable for not standing up for Trish too.

As I said, I understood Yinrun’s reasoning but it doesn’t mean I can’t feel disappointed that she still did that while ignoring and not nominating those that are actively targeting Trish when her nomination came from how much she cares for Trish.

From a housemate point of view she saw Noky befriend Trish and then leave her to have an argument for something she did. They would be more reason to vote her over Tom who Yinrun doesn’t know is actively bitching about Trish (Tom barely got any votes this whole season, so I reckon housemate’s overlook him/don’t see what we see)

As for not spending much time with the upstairs gang prior to possession, most nights on live feed she was never up with them, she was with the garden gang.

I'd have liked Tom but he actually seems to get on okay with Tom for some reason. Is he friendly with Chanelle? He could have picked her given what had just happened and the way she acted towards Trish

Trish saw she was upset and asked her if she was ok…she told Trish knowing full well she would say something. Maybe if Noky didn’t want the drama she would have been better off not saying anything…

Exactly

Henry & Yinrun comes across a bit fake , does Henry think Tom likes him ? . You'd think he would have chosen 2 Garden gremlins.

Yinrun is playing a weird game plan aswell , why did she target Noky over something so petty .

…although as others have said, I’m a bit disappointed that Yinrun nominated Noky and not Tom for instance…?…it doesn’t really change support for her because quite a few times, I’ve felt that it didn’t quite fit with what/how we’re being led and what the house dynamics are…I mean, it wasn’t just Yinrun who chose not to nominate Tom and yet he’s being portrayed in the highlight show to be a huge part of that mean group…hmmmm, it’s not complete gelling and fitting for me…so yeah, I’m sad that Noky is one of the housemates up for eviction but it hasn’t changed any of my thoughts about Yinrun because she’s nominating as she feels is best ….

The divide isnt as pronounced as the HL show us tbh. Their reasoning on nominating Noky are valid
Henry is close with Tom
In the live feed, Jenkin even say that Tom still have Henry & Jordan in the final week if he goes

…yep, I do often feel that things don’t always make sense to us because we’re being led and highlights aren’t always giving us an accurate vision of the house….even with something like a main storyline for us of the triangle thing…?…that was a real focus in the outside and yet when she was evicted, Hallie seemed to have no knowledge of even the existence of…

There is very little interaction with him and Noki During the live feed she always seems perched on his bed with her back to him chatting to Jordan which seems really rude

When you sit on the fence and don't pick a side you become an easy target. It is the safer move at the start but there comes a time you need to pick and stick to a side. - Usually the one with more numbers otherwise you get burnt.

That's not what he said. He chastised her for coming over to their group at all but then tried to make it out like it was game playing.

If he simply didn't get on with her, then fair play. Not everyone is going to get on.

Edit: And tbh, Henry for all we know is glued to Jordan most times. It's hard to separate the two so it may actually impact Jordan's ability to make new friends in the House. I like Henry, but he's a bit clingy.

Saying who they don’t trust isn’t breaking nomination rules only specificity if they say or indicate that’s who they will nominate
