I feel like someone has photoshopped this, it all seems too much! And yes I am a Trish fan, but the racism towards Asians? Really? Has no one thought this could be a strange hateful thing to sabotage her support especially turning yinrun fans against her or am I crazy, I’ve only seen a few things but it just doesn’t seem right and surely bb would check over socials before?

When her profile was still up, clicking on the tweets led to her current profile. There's no way to photoshop around that.

The only way it could be faked would be if Trish didn't have a a twitter, and someone changed their pictures and handle to make their account resemble hers.

Some people do weird & awful things, especially catfishes.

I think they’re clever and they’re timing it correctly. The housemates socials have all been on private during their time in the house, and can make them public again once they leave. I feel the catfish knew this and hence why it’s been timed so conveniently

Exactly!!! It’s ridiculously made up. And yes why would someone go through all the effort? But then I have no idea why anyone would do it anyway? and of course if they wanted it to feel real they’d really go the extra mile to make it as real as it could possibly look, sporadic year dates and stuff. Sorry but there's virtually no chance it's not legit. Let's recap:

- this account has plenty of old tweets including pics of Trish from pre-BB
- it was reopened from private to public after her eviction
- it was being tagged by her friends and family
- it was being tweeted by various BB fan sites
- she was very active on it initially yesterday interacting with fans and picked up thousands of new followers
- then someone obviously searched the handle along with some keywords and uncovered some bad tweets and shared them
- once people cottoned onto this more and more tweets began to be discovered by numerous different people
- many of these tweets stayed live for several hours
- eventually they were basically all deleted
- eventually the account was deleted

And just for the avoidance of doubt:
- you can not hack an account and post old tweets
- you can not photoshop a live tweet

Trish Balusa
has apologised and said there's
"no excuses" for historical tweets
in which she wrote derogatory comments
about the LGBT community and Asian people.

Balusa, 33, had become a fan favourite
in ITV's Big Brother reboot but was
evicted in a double elimination on
Friday night despite a fan-led campaign
calling for viewers to vote strategically
so she could win.

The posts on X, formerly known as Twitter,
only came to light once Balusa had left
the Big Brother house.

It looks as though the account they were
shared on has since been deleted.
Sky News has chosen not to include Balusa's posts.

Posting to a new account in her name
on Sunday, Balusa admitted her
historical tweets were "very concerning"
and said: "I would like to sincerely apologise
for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated
and the pain I have caused to the
marginalised communities and groups
of people mentioned.


"There are no excuses for the ignorance
that I showed and I am deeply disappointed,
embarrassed and ashamed that I once
made such comments.

"I have come a very long way since by
educating myself and being educated
by others on the impact and harm
these views cause."]

They didn't remove Trish because of her tweets, she was voted out. Trish sadly has caused her own demise, its nothing to do with ITV. They have a duty to investigate as their internal procedures should have identified this and didn't but you are acting like they have done this, when they have had no hand in the finding of these tweets.

I agree that Farage is a contreversial signing but that has nothing to do with the current situation imo. If they had ejected her over the tweets and condemned her pubically, whilst they would have been right to do so, you may have a point about hypocrisy but they haven't done that.

Trish was a fave of mine but she has let herself down on this. Its on her, no-one else.

I know Trish wasn't removed but instead evicted. I'm talking about how ITV & BB have shunned her from taking part or having anything more to do with BB related stuff, whilst the same TV channel is putting Farage in the jungle for 1.5mill, but IAC is famous for putting in the most controversial celebs for ratings,they don't have any morals really. So it is hypocritical.

I don't condone Trish's tweets and yes she's held accountable,but the way producer's have handled all this ...has been badly. You would have thought they'd learn from BB19 . But no doubt scandals will keep happening,as nobody can be bothered to do background check before it gets to a embarrassing stage of too little too late .
