My take on things is that Jordan used Henry for his gameplan, then went on to include Matty into his story line.
I have nothing against game plans, unless it involves hurting someone.
Jordan is fully aware that Henry has fallen for him and uses it to his advantage.

I'm only giving Jordan the benefit of the doubt because it's a TV show. They have a super intense connection. Say he moves forward now and then for whatever he goes out and starts dating like crazy (especially if he wins) can impact his reputation in his personal life. So there's other considerations there.

However, saying something is platonic whenever romantic feelings are involved is messy at best. At worst, it's messing with the other person's head and duping them into accepting scraps when they're being reeled in with the belief there may be a buffet down the line. Saying we're friends with benefits with the idea it could become more would be fine, but Henry's commentary saying he feels like Jordan has some kind of control over him is not a sign of a healthy relationship. He's also pretty much said it was something he was not prepared for. It does not mean it will become a toxic relationship. However, some of the bigger red flags are there and it is concerning.

Another part of me always wondered if they were all using the "are they/are they not" drama to keep the cameras focused on them (i.e. gameplaying). I don't think Henry is 100% without fault in this regard. He is bright, he may be thinking it's worth taking the risk here. Matty was also playing the same game since he has the "open relationship" get out of jail free card. He can pretty much do whatever without being tethered to responsibility which is equally shitty.

I just pray Henry knows what he is getting himself into because it's very hard to separate feelings from a situation, and then to lose reality when you're in such an intense connection. With the way he has been expressing himself the past few days, I'm not sure he is that objective. If they're both happy with that arrangement after all, more power to them. In the end it's literally a TV relationship. So, they may very well be more aware of what is going on than we are :joker: Imagine one of them wins and they both get out and split the prize having known what they were doing all along...

It’s clear Henry is an emotional man and let’s be real here he’s in love with him.

They’ve been locked in a house together for 6 weeks, pretty sure you could get very strong feelings for someone within a couple of weeks spending 24 hours of the day together.

Most couples might go say about 5/6 dates which is probably about 5 hours of a day over say 3 months before starting a relationship/ having strong feelings for someone.

It’s obviously easy to fall for someone when you’re locked up together for weeks in a confined space.

Jordan keeps telling him it's platonic but then his actions lead Henry to believe otherwise. He will be thinking "if it was only platonic, why would he keep kissing me?". I don't think he has realised that Jordan just likes the attention. Jordan is also very aware of how Henry feels towards him, and instead of choosing not to kiss him and cuddle next to him, in order to not lead him on and give him false hope, he has done it even more.
