:suspect: he didn't seem shocked at all, from a mental health point of view I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a heads up which is why he was crying reading Yinruns letter, honestly I hope he did because that was brutal for the other HMs
Mm yeah I did wonder that, he didn't look too shocked

I was watching thinking does he understand what’s happening?! Does he think it’s a joke?! I thought that was very cruel

Yeah that as well, never seen him like that
yeah i think he had been told he was going to be evicted at some point in the day and not to share it with the others
They can't have told him too long before because the vote was open till 6pm. Maybe they asked him to collect the letters and told him then?

They showed him talking about missing home in the DR? Maybe it was timed with that?
I'm glad if they let him know. It's like that person who knows their soul is nearing its time here... awaits sweet eternal peace

He might have been very low in the voting....

When you look at his best bits, he has such an expressive face, it just doesn't add up that he didn't know

I got that vibe as well. I wondered if he was a plant. I've come to the conclusion he was.
I think he did seem quite shocked but was just smiling it off to seem like he wasn't bothered which is understandable

He might have had a feeling they'd be some twist, but i don't think he knew.... i think he was just relieved to be going. He got his 7 min in heaven and his letter from home, so he was ready to leave. But it was still brutal of BB.

I thought the same thing and they’re all about mental health. I could see him being prepared for it. Perhaps they told him that one person would be sent home as part of the task and as he was the last there, he would know instantly that it was him. Or maybe they told him there was a 50/50 chance. Bottom line, he totally seemed to know. If they are really concerned about mental health, they wouldn’t have pulled a stunt like that on a person, especially one as emotional as Matty. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised that he was warned.
