Otherwise it could lead to an awkward question during the interview, Yinruns interview will be interesting as they can't avoid talking about her relationship with Trish in there can they?
ITV have made a bit of a rod for their own back by not addressing the Trish thing head on
No, they will say whose Trish? No-one of that name here

I can visualise Yinrun looking at the ex housemates lined up, her face crumpling as she tearfully asks 'where is Trish' :bawling:

The same when Matty said he’d most likely stay in contact with Chanelle, Yinrun and her will swiftly moved the convo on ::laugh:

And they tried to mute/ turn down Chanelle's mic, any time she mentioned Trish. ITV have handled everything badly.

Their form of handling it is literally Trish who? Dont know her.

I think they're doing the right thing actually. They haven't thrown her under the bus with it by saying the usual "we are sorry, Trish is a racist, and every kind of phobe there is", and they haven't said they support Trish (which they shouldn't).

Swan, I do have to agree with you there; because CBS and Big Brother US had done it pretty much the same way this year with their one housemate Luke. He said the n-word on the live feeds (with 3 men of colour in the room with him) and (albeit bleeped) in the first eviction episode, and after a lot of people complained (including ex-housemates), he got ejected and subsequently was removed from the opening titles and anything related to the series; and he wasn't invited to the finale either.

Have they said she is banned from the final? I can see why they wouldn't want to put her on TV but that doesn't mean she can't still be there.

I can’t see anything official about it. I imagine for her safety they wouldn’t have her there though.

I don’t think there’s any need for them to be informed until after their final interviews. As well as each evictee’s own experiences, there are 15 other housemates and numerous tasks, that could be discussed in what will be fairly brief interviews, considering there are 5 to get through, alongside some highlights, best bits, etc.
I wouldn’t think Trish will be allowed at the televised final, but could possibly be able to attend an after party. Though, would she want to, considering the awkwardness and embarrassment she is likely to encounter in having to explain herself and what’s happened. She might prefer to speak to those housemates who matter to her on a one-to-one basis and in a less public setting.

I dont know how they could do Yinruns interview without referring to Trish though and its unlikely they are going to start talking about her now given she has been given the cold shoulder all week  same with Noky the killer nomination is a huge part of her time in the house...I think they will tell them they have to avoid mentioning her ...maybe I am wrong though

There has been nothing official since it all came out, which I think is poor, they could have given it a nod on L&L, I cannot see her at the final tbh

It’s Olivia who may need protection if Paul’s girlfriend gets hold of her

I’m sure they released a statement, no?
Don’t think there’s much else they can do, yeah they screwed up royally even letting her in the house without noticing she’s a racist.. but i think they’re dealing with it the best way possible.. out of mind out of sight, best way for her tbf

It would literally only have needed a 30 second statement
'Since Trish has left we have become aware of offensive tweets posted before the series started. We are currently investigating how this didn't get picked up beforehand but for now Trish will not be appearing on any of our programs'

why what did she do with Paul, she didnt write his name and rub it off in the kissing task now did she? that was all on Paul
As Queen Noky rightly said it is always the girl gets the blame, I cant recall one instance in there where Olivia led Paul on, and please don't mention what she wears because Paul was practically naked 24 hours a day :fist::laugh:

They were both involved.. we saw quite a bit of ‘playful horseplay’ and wrestling on a bed so there will have been a great deal more
I just think she could have been more respectful towards his girlfriend .
I recall Olivia say that Paul told her that his girlfriend would understand …. But maybe moments like this will have had his girlfriend either squirming or thrown something at the telly

I dont think they would take responsibility, but a statement would be nice. Second person banned from franchise since Helen Wood?

ITV did release a statement very similar to that, but they blamed the company tasked with checking social media for them
I remember reading it on the BBC news site

That’s very different though, as Luke crossed a line in the house and broke a rule, and was rightly consigned to the dustbin of history. Trish’s misdemeanours mostly centre around tweets from a decade ago, which quite frankly should’ve been identified before she was cast. They weren’t though and she did nothing wrong on the show and thus deserves to be at the final
All this from a channel about to platform Nigel Farage on their biggest programme. And a channel that constantly runs mental health campaigns. Appalling handling all round
Scum, scum, scum. We don’t mix with it we wash it down the sink

With how much flak ITV has received for their poor aftercare in recent years I wonder if this is the correct decision. I think the best thing to do would have been to just have her backstage and not on camera.

Where the Nigel Farage racist tweets at?
Trish is miles worse and shouldn’t be at the final or on TV screens ever again imo, down the sink with her :dance2:
