Thank you all so much for your care and support, and to Kate for starting this thread.

I am still in shock and can't believe he has gone. Andy was only 59, and we spent 32 years together. He had been unwell for some time, but we had no idea how bad things really were. He suddenly became very weak and we called him an ambulance last Saturday. Over the week he went downhill very quickly, his liver and kidneys failed and he got pneumonia. He went on dialysis in ICU, but it was too late, and he passed away peacefully on Friday night.

My Daughter and my friends are supporting me closely, and I am so grateful to also have the support of you all on tibb.

Thankyou everyone , Yesterday was what turned out to be a sad but very beautiful day and many said it was the best service they had ever been to ~ due to an incredible celebrant who went above and beyond to capture the essence of him , and of course my diamond daughter who had everyone laughing with her memories . The coffin amazed everyone because it was so different . I also want to thank Cherie for arranging the beautiful flowers sent on behalf of TIBB friends, they really are very lovely and super kind of you's. He really had a send off he woud have enjoyed.
