View Full Version : Matty traumatized

I'd posted another article that he tried to quit several times. Now claiming he is traumatized by even the twists it sounds like. Needless to say, he was glad for his exit. In the other article, he said the back and forth between him and Jordan was draining. Which is surprising because he could've stopped that at any time? Can't say I paid that much attention to it except that he did not seem to mind too much at some points.

Isn't he supposed to be the superfan of the group too? He definitely should have known better.

He is not the first person to go on bb and find it hard to live in that environment
After all, it’s prison with cameras

The vast majority of members on this forum would never go on bb of given the chance
Don’t be so quick to dismiss someone that’s been in there and lived under the microscope

Personally I wouldn't go on BB for a number of reasons.

One of them would be the cruel psychological games that the Show likes to play on you, imo Matty (and any other person interested on going in) should always look at that along with how the public will receive you as the two most important things when considering auditioning.

Maybe Matty didn't fully realise what he was letting himself in for ,even though yes they all sign up to it and they agree to the T& C. But I suppose when you're actually there ... it's more difficult ,plus as mentioned there's all the psychological games and twists BB play on hm's.

It's different when we watch it as a viewer, but to actually be in that situation must make you on edge and paranoid. Plus there's the worry of how you're being perceived and you don't know what is and isn't getting aired .

Not sure if I could personally do it , I like the idea of meeting a mixture of people from all walks of life, and the tasks will keep you busy . But for all the other times you're stuck in boredom doing nothing. And I don't like the idea of sharing bathroom and toilet with 15 other strangers.

I still struggle to see him as a doctor.

I think before entering housemates should be made aware they could edit you to be the baddie and mentally prepare for that/twists/boo's etc.

Or the opposite in Olivia’s case …

He's so traumatised by it all he's already found time to do two different media interviews

I am not sure I bought his story that he wanted to leave 2 days before the final, he might have wanted to face the public vote I suppose

…to be fair, though…any interviews and media interest etc would be offered now because it’s still holding the public interest etc…but only for a short time, I would think because I’m a Celebrity is snapping at the BB housemate’s heels and then it’ll all be about Nigel……I’m not sure interviews will be as much as back in the day because of that back to back thing…so housemates are probably advised to ‘take it while they can’ in terms of any payments they receive etc…mind you, the tabloids love their slanting as well…

I don't really feel sorry for him. I get the experience can be hard but 'traumatized' is a strong word. What you experienced was not trauma.

Please remember when doing interviews the journalist asks many different questions and i doubt that was Mattys main takeaway. They need an interesting story and angle.

He also seems like he would be a great dr. I think especially in peds with sick children. Definitely a good future a head of him.

Wasnt even a fan of matty on the show as the love triangle thing bored the life out of me, but the comments on this thread are a bit out of touch.
