I was shocked to see how short Sam is, compared to Nella who I think looks about 5 feet 6 or 7.
He was about 4 inches shorter than her.
'He went for the small balls'
'He's a small man, I'm not surprised.'
:joker: That was good.

Frankie pulling the face of how we are all thinking haha
Fred saying to Sam 'You can help me do x'
Treating him like a kid. Sam is the Yinrun of the series.
With those glasses, Grace reminds me of

Frankie is a bit up himself, and as for Tony and Frankie sleeping separately if they dont want the experience they shouldn't go, sick of Tony already, he wasnt as funny doing the drinking task as Ant and Dec were trying to make out ...in fact he was pretty revolting:laugh:
Why was Josie killing herself laughing when Tony was struggling - she’s an idiot

I have seen more iconic drinking tasks in the past…Tony seems a bit of a knob and I have never had much time for Frankie…he has small man syndrome. Don’t think either of them will give Sam any of their time. I mean Sam is a little bit annoying but he is harmless and a genuine sweet and positive soul…

I think Sam is harmless but living with him must be a nightmare. I do agree with Grace and think he is quite a smart cookie though.
Frankie's looks towards Sam singing was funny and he has only just been with Sam a few days. Looks like the camp mates have given Tony the heads up about Sam being OTT.

Sam is on the autistic spectrum, which explains some of his awkward social skills, and his lack of awareness about appropriate behaviour anround others. It also explains why he seems so naive and childlike, as this can be a typical characteristic of autism.
Autism affects social and emotional skills rather than intellectual or learning abilities, so Sam could well be much smarter than he at first appears. High functioning autism used to be called Asperger’s Syndrome, but I believe that terminology is beginning to be phased out. However, Sam seems typical of someone with high functioning autism.
Unless or until people understand the condition, the behaviour of the person with it can seem extreme, and can become confusing or irritating to others. That’s why it’s important for camp mates and viewers to be aware, as Sam is not childlike by choice. Like most people on the autistic spectrum, Sam probably doesn’t have a bad bone in his body, and can become quite endearing once people have awareness and understanding.
Catching up. Nigel having to eat garbage again. Sam being Sam. Jamie has moved on from the tears and is providing helpful commentary.
Nella and Sam doing a trial. :joker: This could be fun
Just caught up. A lazy Sunday watching 3 episodes back to back after being away for work. We're still not seeing much of Nick, the edits can be a bit unfair.
Looking forward to the Nella and Sam trial...

Yes I agree.
Doing shorter one hour shows does not help
Same again tonight under an hour
due to the ads.

Nella will give up again I think.
Not liking Tony, loved the fact that they missed the breakfast after being so sure they had won it
Not keen on Frankie either

I'm surprised nobody was ruled out on 'medical grounds ', I refuse to believe all 12 campmates can go under water .

Mind you with 2 participants...maybe one goes underwater and the other has to do something on the ground

I got the impression they were both going under water, but actually it would make more sense ....if it was 1 on ground .

It actually just emphasises how difficult the conditions are .. under normal circumstances they are both very affable characters

Sam fawning over Tony. How embarrassing was that.
Cringe time for sure. Sam is a loudmouth bore. I hope he goes first.
Very irritating man.

He’s harmless and just misunderstood. His autism and ADHD explain his behaviour.

I like him. Everyone has more room to express themselves than they give themselves credit for. Sam lets himself be more "roomy" than the average person and it's a very welcome influence.
I do understand though where too much is just too much. Everyone has a different tolerances and it may make them feel uncomfortable to be around such an energy constantly. That's also quite reasonable. Especially if they're very introverted.

I was a bit poorly last night, so wasn't paying too much attention. I'll catch up with this later.
