Antonelli quite impressive fact is that he skips F3, and made his move directly to F2 from Formula Regional Championships
at the age of 17, he was last seasons regional champion

F2 is great, Nicky, as every race is so exciting and is often so unpredictable too. What a great battle for the Championship between Fred Vesti and Theo Pourchaire. I was pleased to see Pourchaire take the trophy, but it was so close. And what a shame so many talented drivers never get the chance in F1.
Some great talent moving from F3 to F2 this year!
I’m a fan of Dennis Hauger, and am hoping his form is more consistent in 2024. I think his performance in F3 showed he has great potential, and I want him to now fulfil that potential in F2. I was disappointed that Red Bull dropped him from their a junior programme, but guess it was understandable.

I got an offer for Sky Sports on Now TV so I signed up, for a month at least.
No way to pause or rewind on most devices which is annoying.
Also ads during qualifying.

Looks like Christian Horner is under intense pressure still .. supposedly the F1 bosses are meeting as we speak .. don’t know if that’s just a rumour - kinda sounds feasible especially as there’s rumours of more leaks coming out over the coming days ..
I think he’s screwed now the texts and photos are in the public domain

Red Bull will keep supporting Christian
Max also has spoken out his support for him in public now
What’s all the fuss about Louis Hamilton still when the youngster George Russell has been outperforming him for about 2 years and they drive the same damn car !!

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Carlos Sainz ruled out and replaced by Oliver Bearman
3 hours ago
By Andrew Benson
Chief F1 writer
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz has been diagnosed with appendicitis and will miss the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
The Spaniard, 29, will be replaced for the rest of the weekend in Jeddah by the team's 18-year-old reserve driver Oliver Bearman, who will become the youngest Briton to race in Formula 1.
Sainz had been unwell for two days, saying Thursday practice was "one of my toughest days in a Formula 1 car."
He had thought he had a stomach bug but will now need surgery.
Bearman was in Jeddah competing in the Formula 2 championship and had taken pole position for the feature race in qualifying on Thursday.
'Bearman already marked out as potentially a special one'
His appearance in the Ferrari will mark his full F1 debut, although he drove a Haas car in first practice at the Mexican and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix last year.
Lando Norris was previously the youngest Briton to race in F1 - taking part in practice for McLaren in Belgium in 2018 aged 18.
Ferrari have not said when Sainz will return to the cockpit.
In 2022, Williams driver Alex Albon missed the Italian Grand Prix with appendicitis and returned for the next race in Singapore.
The race after Saudi Arabia is the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on 20-22 March.

Bearman almost knocked Hamilton out of a Q3 spot :hehe:

more drama at Red Bull
it seems Helmut Marko might be suspended, and if that happens Verstappen will leave the team
