I've chosen this song because I was waiting for some sort of inspiration on my way to work this morning and then Gavin rang me in the car and told me he had just been listening to this song on the radio, it was our wedding song so it's very special to me and although it's not technically a Christmas song, for me everything about that movie reminds me of Christmas holidays and watching it with family when I was younger and my own kids were younger and hopefully that will continue (with the original of course) for future generations

I hope everyone here has a lovely Christmas (and for Livia a Happy Hanukkah) and a happy new year.

This year has had its ups and downs like every year really but it got really bad towards the end of this year. Our family dog Leo had to be put down at the beginning of November and it’s left a bit of a void in our house. He was 13 years old and had problems with his heart. He had been on medication for 2 years and we was told by the vets back then that he would be lucky to live for 1 year. So the fact that he lived for 2 years showed how much of a fighter he really was, but we are really missing him :love:.

Hopefully next year will be more positive not just for me but for everyone here too.

Merry Christmas Tibb!! 🎄❄️☃️🎁

I hope everyone here has a lovely Christmas (and for Livia a Happy Hanukkah) and a happy new year.

This year has had its ups and downs like every year really but it got really bad towards the end of this year. Our family dog Leo had to be put down at the beginning of November and it’s left a bit of a void in our house. He was 13 years old and had problems with his heart. He had been on medication for 2 years and we was told by the vets back then that he would be lucky to live for 1 year. So the fact that he lived for 2 years showed how much of a fighter he really was, but we are really missing him :love:.

Hopefully next year will be more positive not just for me but for everyone here too.

As always I’ll leave you all with some Christmasy pics and a scene from my favourite TV Christmas episodes. This year it’s How I Met Your Mother.

Yes I cared for him 24/7 for the last few days .. offering him drinks and food in his comfy bed right in front of the lounge fire ..

Had to post this as my Xmas song. Technically it's not even a Xmas song. Not even the original is. But I can just about to get away with it.

Anyway the reason for this is due to Girls Aloud announcing their reunion. It's felt like the early 2000s recently. With the likes of Girls Aloud, Sugababes, S club etc etc all being around again. It's been nice. The early 2000s have some super nostalgic moments for me so it's been good. So yeah there's the reason for the choice of song

As to my message hope everyone is keeping healthy. The drastic weather changes, cost of living, general stress etc at this time of year can be hard. But I hope you are healthy make time for yourself and show your loved ones how much you love them not just for one day if a year but all year through.

Well the standard has been set high this year. Just been catching up with the recent messages and they're all brilliant and unique. I'm glad this tradition has persisted and it's been a cracking year on the forum with BBs return seeing this place thrive again.
