Nigel I think struggled with the positioning and you wouldn't think it with how confident he sounds most other times. But yeah, he really struggled I think like Chalk said with the sitting up to do the locks... I think having a stiff back or just stiffness in general (and add in age), you'd be surprised how hard such simple tasks become... remember that he has been exempt from other things on medical grounds and he'd said himself he had to rebuilt after the crash.

You make a good point here, about his age and his accident making it difficult for him to manoeuvre into certain positions. I also think the diving task which he just couldn’t do, has knocked his confidence significantly He hasn’t seemed the same since then.
