Me and my friend Jayne are cooking. :p

We have two family members (no more please!) round and two other friends.

I don't normally associate like that but hey it is Christmas after all. :shocked:

Dinner will be served at 3pm, in time for the King's Speech.

Then rum and brandy Christmas pud. :D :dance:

I've been cooking since 6:30 this morning. That's when I started drinking too.

I've already ate 3 courses. I'm about to have dessert.

I shall then probably go to bed for a few hours to sleep it off. After I've put a double Cognac and an after eight down my trap.

I'll set my alarm for 7pm and then get back on it for the evening until the early hours.

I made some spaghetti with ragu sauce.
Tonight I'm having chicken. Don't like turkey.

Hubby. With me instructing him. Very easy as it all ended up in big cast iron pots in the oven for a few hours and cooked itself.

Gammon cooking in cherry coke to be glazed with morello cherry jam before going in the oven…served with cold Turkey, new pots in butter and herbs, cocktail sausages, pickled onions and garlic bread.
