I used to work for an Airline and we used to deal and look after Unaccompanied minors. I never understood why a parent would put their child under the age of 11 into the care of total strangers...no matter if you used to be the Worlds Favourite Airline or not...
it's a pretty regular occurrence for kids to be put on the wrong plane. One was sent to the wrong country :laugh:

I was on a spirit flight once and they cabin crew told us all we were flying to Hawaii today. Then she corrected herself. Spirit don’t even fly to Hawaii lol. The staff have no clue.

First time I flew I was 13 or 14. I flew by myself. We were stuck on the tarmac for over four hours. This was before laws were changed and it became less frequent. Thankfully I wasn't afraid of flying or anything.
