I've only not watched it yet because the Covid-years episodes fell a bit flat for me, and I still haven't got round to 2022's :joker:

I agree that clip of him is pretty cringe.

Tbh I don't really like most stand-up (apart from Tim Vine) but I like him in panel shows etc.

Everything about him is cringe, I remember seeing him on the big fat quiz in lockdown,and he threw something on the persplex glass ,and on that morning cooking show...he just kept talking rubbish with his annoying grating .voice

I agree, I've always disliked Acaster. He always sounds like he's got a cold and he generally seems pretty smug. And I'm not the biggest fan of Gervais but he is much, much funnier than Acaster. And Gervais' philosophy on comedy is the correct one - anyone should be fair game for comedy. Either everyone's ripe for mockery, or no one is.
