So one of my closest friends on here now wants to quit Tibb because they've been labelled Anti Semitic when they are clearly nothing of the kind!

People take things to heart and if we could please remember this. The quote in question was deleted as it seemingly caused uproar. No offence was intended, and a lot of distress has been caused. Maybe back off her would be an idea.

I expect this will be deleted but I wanted to make my point.

I don't think anyone wants Ness to leave, and I'm sure once she's relaxed a bit, neither will she. Seems like a bit of a storm in a teacup that will settle own after a few hours.

I mean, some of what she wrote was pretty dodgy (to say the least), so I don't think anyone was in the wrong for calling her out on it. it would have died down after a day as something else would have cropped up, so creating a scene about it actually drags it out longer than just not replying and leaving the discussion where it was.

It's not pleasant, but Ness has to just own it and leave it be. It's not really a big deal.

Exactly Rusti and Ness definitely did state she was sorry if she caused offence. So she did 'own it' and the thread should be deleted in respect of her wishes.

She didn't "look a dick" as you charmingly put it. People make mistakes, hers was simply phrasing something badly, the backlash she got was far too harsh. If an OP requests a thread deleted for genuine reasons then it should be done.
