Gary wants to ban the Israeli Football Team

[Gary Lineker is undermining confidence
in the BBC's impartiality and making
its managers look utterly foolish.
He can offend who he likes,
but not while he is employed
by the corporation]
[Lineker never seems to miss an
opportunity to parade his virtue.
This weekend, the BBC’s most senior
and well-paid football commentator
retweeted a post calling for the country’s
team to be banned from international competition.
It was to my mind, a blatant breach of BBC guidelines.]

I wish the two Garys would stick to football ..
Gary Neville is just as bad
Such a shame as they are both nice guys and mean well
PS
Gary Neville is apparently a guest Dragon on Dragon’s Den this week !!

It's his personal twitter, not a television broadcast.
the rules were made quite clear. He can say anything on his twitter as long as he is not insulting to others.
I’m suggesting that they stay with what they know … Gary Neville seems to spend half his time talking politics when he’s arguably the best footie pundit and should stay with what he knows
Just an opinion

we live in a country with free speech
we live in a country with free speech
I’m not saying he can’t spout his nonsense.. I am simply suggesting that he’s better qualified to talk about football

Technically we don't, not as a legal right anyway. Not in the same was as the USA, at least.

It's his opinion that he said on Twitter.
Honestly we're not China just yet.

Lineker is allowed free speech, unless his employers at his £1million plus a year job request otherwise. In private he can say whatever he likes. He's paid to talk about football... the BBC only turn a blind eye because he spouts their own agenda while they stagger from one Lineker controversy to another.
The most interesting thing about Gary Neville is that his dad's called Neville Neville.

he's talking about football though, and a country which violates human rights laws does not have a right to be a member of the UEFA tbh
we had Russia kicked out, now we need the same sanctions on Israel
Is he still sucking arab cock for money?

He's taken plenty of money from Qatar with their questionable Human Rights history, didn't seem to bother him. He was strangely quiet about the Rohingya genocide in Myanmar or China’s Repression and mass murder of Uyghurs in Xinjiang. So why Israel? It's like he has some kind of agenda...

We had year after year of failed politician, Nigel Farage on tv every day talking about brexit and migrants, followed up by the daily tufton thinktanks appearances, but a dude speaking out against a genocidal regime, on twitter no less, is what really sows doubt about impartiality.
Galaxy brains in action again.
