I've never understood the need for an expensive watch.
No difference from a cheapo £5.00 watch and a £600,000 watch I see some footballers wearing.
The only difference you're a fool to spend that much on a watch. It tells the time - that's all.
Nothing worse than a dumb rich person. :p

It’s a shame that this happens but I wouldn’t go out getting drunk and wearing a £5000 Rolex. That just seems like a really stupid idea especially in London. I’d wear it in the daytime when it’s safer and always keep my wits about me.

Some people collect them as a hobby? I wouldn’t say it’s foolish, they could sell them in the future and maybe make a profit from it? You could say the same about a car, it does the same thing whether it cost £1000 or £100,000 but some people collect cars as they can be seen as an investment.
