I agree. Very lucky.

At least she put blankets in the bag.

The Baby was left in a busy area.

We do not know if the mother
was raped or anything.

So it is not cruel until we find out.

And the baby is alive and safe now
in the local hospital.

I is cruel arista she could have been left somewhere warm like a hospital, shop etc,it was very cold for a newborn.

Was there a receipt in the shopping bag?

I'm only being partially flippant, a forgotten receipt might have payment details to track the "mother", or the time and date of a transaction to locate camera footage/ask questions.

At least she left blankets around the baby
in the bag.

She could not go to a building
as they have cameras.

The person who left the child. Not the new lion king.

The police officer at the press conference didn't give away any details about the individual who found her.

They probably didnt want to keep her if nobody claimed her within 21 days.

She was less than an hour old when she was found. Poor baby  I do hope the mother is OK.....I honestly can't fathom how anyone could abandon a tiny baby like that
