I’d say she’s definitely a girl

The song did nothing for me at all

I thought they were a guy.

But maybe I'm wrong tbf, either way I do think that this thread is a bit harsh.

I'm not saying for Nicky to pretend to like them (because I don't believe in toxic positivity as Redway calls it) but calling them a "disgusting being" is in my view a tinsy bit harsh.

i used to like Ireland, doing their own thing with singer-songwriter types, only caring about the song, not the act

as Johnny Logan likely will say ''this has nothing to do with eurovision'' i also still respect him for disliking the Jedward twin gimmick

Jedward got us placed higher than anyone else we'd sent in years

yes more like how weird ESC has gotten in recent times :idc:

Brooke deserved way more either in 2022, her ''olé olé olé'' after her performance remains iconic for me

its either mainstream commercial plastic products or freak show acts these days, nothing inbetween

ESC really loses its identity from its glory years, love for native language, own culture, not looking at what will do well in the charts (who cares about the charts)

Sweden is taking it over more and more recent times :( with their global domination of the charts

Sadly they won't do that because the juries prefer every nation to sing in the same language.

i did the same to other freakshow in 2010 Milan Stankovic, so it will receive the same treatment

Thrilled Ireland have taken a risk for once. Love the studio. The live managed to come along really well in that **** studio as well and I am sure they’ll elevate it more in May on a bigger stage. Exciting times.

I agree with you.

But I remember the year Grand Amore got robbed of it's rightful win, the juries scored it down because it was sung in Italian.

It probably helps that I really like Stay as a song, because it's definitely a more derivative version of the crazy woman's parts of that song.

no, more because operatic songs have no commercial appeal

Bambie will only do well because of the whole TIKKYTOK hype around it, and tbh it has some ''west end'' vibes and people are a sucker for musicals in general so
