left it to private firms.

So Rugby (North England) has a great Fast Charging
area for loads of cars.

But that is rare,

BBC Panorama did a Documentary.
but that was in the summer. (so out of date)
And now less investments
into UK battery making,
has buggered plans up.


On the Documentary
the driver went to many Public Charging Points
that were not working.

Small-area van deliveries
can work ok with Electric Vans.

We have to see what Labour Leader Starmer
has planned.
Sadly his £28Billion is now around £5Billion
He should be on the Sunday shows
instead, he has sent an Old Scottish MP
(Labour campaign coordinator Pat McFadden MP)
who will not slip up.

I think electric cars need at least another 20 years' worth of research. I'd at least like to know that when the battery catches fire - and once one of those batteries are alight you can't put them out, you have to wait until they burn themselves out - that my doors will open and let me out of the car. Unlike the people who've already burned to death in their Tesla.

There’s a clip circulating somewhere online showing a row between a homeowner and some cheeky woman who plugged her car into homeowner’s recharge socket as they weren’t using it !!

The woman was visiting a friend !!

Electric vehicles are not the answer
In order to go totally electric the world would need to build thousand of power stations to produce the electricity needy to charge them and how do we produce the electricity fossil fuels are in decline already

It takes massive amounts of energy to produce the batteries

It would take billions upon billions to go totally electric and the average person hasn’t go 50 to a 100 grand to buy an electric car or truck

The government here are beginning to realise that rather than buy an electric car, people would rather keep their existing cars. The number of electric vehicles being bought are tiny, and the value of 2nd hand legacy fuel cars has gone through the roof. People wont be brow beaten into ditching something that they love for an inferior replacement

The issue is that the current electric cars (the cars themselves, the batteries, and the charging facilities) will be completely obsolete by the time it's mandatory to switch, so there's little to no incentive to make that leap now.

If they make charging dirt cheap compared to fuel per mile, you'll see a lot more people switching. With energy prices the way they are now ... you're paying nearly as much per mile for a less reliable driving experience.

I also lowkey think fully electric vehicles will be replaced as the standard within the next few decades with hybrid electric/hydrogen.
