How would you rate this series of Celebrity Big Brother

I was really excited for this series but IMHO it never really got started and now the finalie is on the horizon. I am kinda sadden of what could have happen, but it never evolved.

How do other forum members feel about this series ?

Saiwong, funnily enough I was thinking that last night, how I'd rate this series and I have to say just 4/10.

I don't really have much to say about it or any of the housemates.

I record the shows and watch them in the morning. But this morning I was just bored with the food task and I fast forwarded much of it.

Yes I would also rate it 3 or 4 out of 10. The civilian series in compassion was so much better. Civilian show = 7 / 10

I was really looking forward to Nikita but all we see him doing is goofing around a bit along with other housemates. The better housemates have left like Sharon who brought some life into the show.

I haven't really watched much of the Series, so I'll just judge it on what I can judge it on, which is attractiveness.

Which on that front I'll score it a 2/10, yes Louis is sex on legs, but where's the attractive women?:laugh:

But tbh I'm not a huge lover of CBB anyway, even back on the Ch4 days.

I really enjoyed the 'civilian' series. I'd give that 10/10 simply because in my view it stuck to old BB, and the housemates were interesting and there were golden moments. :hee:

Far too much birdsong on live feed.

I’d also give it a 4/10. It hasn’t managed to hook me, and overall most episodes are quite forgettable. Too many wallpaper housemates in.

…yeah, I was also looking forward so much to it because I really enjoyed the civilian last year and I hoped that it would build on that and go from strength to strength…although it has still had some highlights for me in being part of the nightly discussion thread…so I’ll give the thread itself a 9/10…but around a 3/10 for the series itself and blend of housemates and tasks given etc…

3 weeks…the first week was all about Sharon the lodger with everyone dancing around her. It’s only since she left, the game playing and a bit of drama has come into play.
You have 3 young men in there who really just want to play friends than participate in any controversy or give some honest opinions. Even David’s been disappointing as I thought he would be more involved and opinionated.

So yeah it’s been a bit of a disappointment…imo.

There have been some stand out episodes, but given it takes at least 10 days for a series to spark into life and the niggles to start annoying, it is too short, that said glad to have it back and I will be sorry when it is over

Honestly maybe 3/10, I can’t think of much/anything that has happened? The housemates seem nice, but I guess that’s the issue if you cast a group of likable/nice people you don’t get much friction or entertainment. It’s not all about arguments either, just so many of them are so similar that there isn’t much interesting debate either.

Even though I didn’t like Lauren I think she should have stayed longer, she seemed even moreso than Louis cause friction.

Yes, I have to say, more than anything, I am so glad it is back on our screens.

I think a lot of us yearn a bit for CBB of the good old days, but for all sorts of reasons, it will never be that again. I can remember watching the live feed of the Michael Barrymore/Pete Burns series, and how volatile and shocking it felt. And I’ll always fondly remember the David Gest series, with the “David’s dead” episode being one of the funniest memories I have of CBB!

Everything is more sanitised these days, and even the housemates seem more sanitised. It’s been light entertainment rather than edge of your seat stuff.

I’d prefer it to be on our screens than to lose it completely, though.

I find Live Feed pretty much a waste of time these days, as so much of the conversation is removed. If they can’t show more than they do, it does make me wonder whether there’s any point in having it at all any more.

I agree. I can't believe anyone even bothers to watch live feed (no offence to those who do), everyone knows that anything of any real interest of entertainment value will be hushed up by tweeting birds and saved for the next day so that it can be chopped up and edited to satisfy the narrative already decided upon by the producers.

It's been good overall.
Not really gripping TV.

I was going to give it 7, however I'm bringing it down to 5 out of 10 now due to that awful, cruel and deflating backdoor eviction last night of Bradley.

That was absolutely horrible and not in any way entertaining.at all.

As above plus put it in their contract that they have to wear trousers if they have a big pair of unsightly legs .

I was away for a week so only caught the start of the series. I kept a vague eye on it but it didn't seem worth picking up when I got back and I'm not sure I've missed much. I feared it was going to be a bit dull from the cast and it's too showbiz and reality TV heavy imo, not enough variety in people's backgrounds or experiences.

The only real exception to that was Gary and it might have been interesting if he had stayed longer
