An Update!

I thought I'd leave you all an update on my pregnancy at the moment, Because I know some people wanted to know!

Had my first scan 2 weeks ago, The lil one is fit and healthy. Even gave me a little wave lol. Was flapping his/her hands about as soon as I saw it and I could see his/her little heart beating...was very emotional! I cried. I blame the hormones :tongue:

I'm starting to show a little bit already which is wicked. I love it! Got my next scan on September the 3rd. That's when I will be able to find out the sex (Hopefully!).

its all starts getting good now, soon you will be able to feel every movement and just wait till your belly stick out in places and all of a sudden when the baby moves it will look like the belly has done the mexican wave its mad but the best feeling ever.

People tried to scare me with child birth - but i tell you have the gas & air and its the best best feeling in the world i loved every min of it.

Anyway im really glad to here everything is fine and heathly and hope to speak with you more xxx

Hey Natalie! Don't think I've spoken to you before.

I can't wait until I start feeling the baby move, Its gonna be amazing. And I'm not worrying about the birth at the moment, As long as my baba is healthy and happy thats all that matters,But the Gas and Air would sure help lol.

oh it does its great best drug ever, and honestly dont let people put you off. Just wait till your next scan you should be able to see more its great.

I have a few names Ruth..Mainly Alex or Mason for a boy and Isabella and Madison for a girl. I will probably change my mind though!

Things are going great now I have changed my midwife. The other one was rubbish and now I have seen my new one she was shocked at the amount of things that havent been checked.

I have to go back every two weeks tho to check my blood pressure. Plus I have to monitor my headaches and blurd vision as I had preeclampsia with my first.

But I feel a lot more secure then I did.

I really wanted a boy at first.But now I really want a lil girl lol...But either way I'll be sooo excited.

Its nice to know..... I didnt find out with my first but I was desperatefor a girl so I convinced myself all the way through that I was having a boy.

We've chosen our name but we're keeping mum on that one until she pops out.

And yes...poor Red is outnumbers.... we even have 2 female cats :bigsmile:

Congratulations Ella, keep us posted on how you're doing. I'd love another baby one day - I wouldn't mind what the gender was as long as he or she was healthy. I know I'd need close monitoring as I had pre-eclampsia with my daughter and may worry a lot about the same thing happening but I'm not letting that put me off.

Thanks for the update Ella, its always lovely to know how these things are going.

Lets hope you have more luck finding out the sex of the baby than my daughter did lol, she had a total surprise when her baby was born.

I loved being pregnant.

My metabolism sped up and I lost weight - YES lost weight. I felt great and it was such a wonderful feeling to know I had a little mini me or mini hubby growing inside of me.

Look after yourself and yes those kicks are great at the start when they are little flutters but a nightmare when they constantly beat against your ribcage towards the end!
