I think it’s best to think of the show as a summer camp spin off BB show rather than true BB. Gone are the days where people will be their true authentic selves as the public hate any form of conflict or truth speaking now if it’s offensive in the slightest, With cancel culture / mob mentality. The classic seasons and housemates and house dynamics will not be seen again in modern times, nor will controversial winners (love or hate) like Aaron, Helen, Jason ever have a shot of winning again.
It means housemates will be on best behaviour and all winners and high placing housemates will be inoffensive and lack opinions, and we will just see fewer sides to people making them seem not as interesting/complex, and therefore boring.
Felt this CBB really struggled as a result.
All nice guys bar Louis who is more controversial, making the top 6 but didn’t exactly see many dimensions of any of their personalities or anything majorly exciting

Didn't like David thought he was over confident. Nikita deserved it more David could become another Stephen Bear.

This is why The Traitors is currently the better Show.
The last series had Zack, Paul, Ross, Diane, Anthony, Harry who really lived up to betraying his fellow Traitors, Jaz, and Jasmine.
That's all that needs to be said to sell The Traitors Series 2.

Yeah but he's not a celebrity. He should have been in the civilian one.

…it’s just a different format I guess if one being public vote based and the other being decided more by the people taking part…I mean, there is a bit of that with BB in that the housemates largely …(…other than twists…)…decide on nominations which then obviously lead to voting out etc…but it’s still very public vote centred, isn’t it…that’s part of what BB has always been for its audience/fans, though…a feeling that we’re involved too…

Must be 'my fault' I'd never heard of him before.
That said, a lot of influencers go into the civilian BB. A lot of wannabes who've already been on TV several times.

It takes a very special audience to anoint an obese dimwit who seeks attenton and courts celebrity with the unbelievably infantile gimmick of wearing no trousers (matching the absence of a brain), to elevate this dunderhead above several far less repulsive housemates. None were great, this year, but this ball of grease was the worst.

Very rarely have I heard of more than 2-3 'celebs' in any given CBB. just this year alone, the only ones I knew of were Louis, Sharon, and Levi. And I wouldn't have been able to name Levi, either. :joker: I'll make an allowance for Colson, given he's on a nation's favourite like Corrie, but I don't watch it.

I think my issue is that The Traitors feel like they have more BB-esque Housemates than BB does.
