Katharine Birbalsingh has said a High Court ruling that a prayer ban is lawful is
a “victory for all schools”.

Ms Birbalsingh, who is described as Britain’s strictest head teacher, said she
introduced the prayer ban in March last year “against a backdrop of events
including violence, intimidation and appalling racial harassment of our
teachers”.

Commenting on Tuesday’s judgement, she said: “A school should be free to do
what is right for the pupils it serves.

One Muslim mum took school to court as they wanted kids to be able to pray at lunchtime

The case against Michaela community school in Brent, north-west London,
was brought by a Muslim pupil, known only as TTT in court proceedings, who
claimed the ban was discriminatory and breached her right to religious
freedom.

As long as doesn't interrupt teaching, who cares if a student wants to kiss the floor a few times?

Facetious comments aside lol, it sounds like Michaela takes an approach where no religion is catered to, and that's fair enough in a place of education.

Tbf it really can be in some scenarios.

It's when cult speak creeps in, is when the problem arises.

Going off topic for a second.

But is Rishi's anti-smoking policy being backed by the chainsmoking Cigar lovers? How not hypocritical of them.
